Great soundtrack and really fun mechanics. A bit short but worth it especially if you like Serious Sam and or Painkiller!
This game is Hideous, Scuffed and Fun. Its a retro FPS than can be more than just circle-strafing if you want. It's also cheap. If your unsure try out the demo. Gives you a taste but doesn't do the game justice. Also, now and then you ride around on a lawnmower drinking boomer juice.

I think is game is an alright way to burn some time. I feel like enemies and some bosses do need some work though. Attacks and projectiles kinda just hit you without you physically seeing it (kinda hit scan but you can see the shots like if there projectiles.) The UI needs to be way cleaner you can return to game and shoot right after you leave causing you to lose ammo. Not sure if there's suppose to be a story, but it kinda tries to visually show you things but it does feel a little weak in that aspect. Maps in the beginning are long but soon become way too short later on. I do enjoy the blocky-ish models and textures but some object look too shiny and out of place. Music is pretty nice for most part but some music feels off or way too close to Serious Sam music (which maybe there were going for but it plays a few times in other levels and it doesn't fit.) Some weapons feel kinda weak like the shotgun isn't good except close range. It just smart to use the shotgun special and then quick switch to the super shotgun for high damage. The chaingun just shoots and runs out of ammo but the hellhound special gives it unlimited ammo. And the weapon upgrades only come a few times so points don't feel useful and not all guns have upgrades or special to begin with. Movement feels kinda floaty too. Bunny-hopping kinda works if your move sideways while jumping but can't really keep that speed for long. Having a crouch button is useless too never seen a need to use it in game. And the dash ability only makes you go forward not where you moving at and it's only used a like twice in the game then an actual way to play. I don't want to leave negative things in my playthrough, but those are things that need to make it much better. In the end, I still had a good time playing the game. It's fun to try and see how fast you can beat it and it does have a cute charm to it that I like to see expand into something more! My suggestion would to be: 1.) Fixes some enemies and texture models to fit the vibe of the game more 2.) Rebalance some weapons and fix upgrades for each weapon and abilities too (maybe upgrades for hook to have longer range or get heath back if you get kill with it? Dash upgrades to double dash or maybe slightly damage and push enemies away from you if you dash through them? 3.) Make some levels longer for sure. Some levels could be short like a boss level or maybe even add some survival type maps with waves of enemies to kill to beat the level 4.) Add more music to make each level unique and maybe a little bit more clearer lore if your going for that. Maybe a few more boss type music too. 5.) Add the option to replay the game with your abilities and weapons from the start and maybe add and remix difficulty where all types of enemies spawn from the start all the way till the end (making the game as a harder new game plus.) Not everyone will like this game, but if you enjoy classic retro shooters and don't mind some flaws, then give this game a try. I know I still like it, and I hope there will be some updates down the road!
i had a good time
unironically fun as hell
I admittedly played VERY little of this game. But what I've played is jank, and not in a good way.
A parody of today's boomer shooters, pretty good tbh
didn't work for me but that's mainly because I have a garbo laptop but apparently it's good so that's cool
yeah
