Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

Embark on an over-the-top, modern-day pirate adventure with an ex-yakuza, now pirate captain and his crew as they engage in exhilarating combat on land and sea in the hunt for lost memories and a legendary treasure.
Goro Majima, a notorious ex-yakuza suddenly finds himself shipwrecked on a remote island in the Pacific. Before long, they’re caught up in a conflict between cutthroat criminals, modern-day pirates, and other scoundrels over a legendary treasure.
Assemble a one-of-a-kind crew while upgrading your ship as you explore the open sea and forge your legend in the cannon fire of foes, unexpected friendships, and immense riches made along the way.
When an enemy pirate ship catches you in their sights, an exhilarating real-time cannon battle breaks out. Quickly maneuver into position while avoiding fire, then deliver devastating damage to board the enemy ship and take down the captain in all-out crew vs. crew brawls. Conquer the seas, discover hidden islands and acquire loads of loot like a true yakuza pirate!
Dynamically switch between the “Mad Dog” and “Sea Dog” fighting styles to mix-up attacks and deliver explosive combos, juggles, and aerial takedowns that reward your creativity with over-the-top action.
With “Mad Dog” style, utilize speed, agility, and flair to deliver precise yet powerful blows that stun your enemies into submission.
Or make enemies walk the plank with the “Sea Dog” style that has you dual-wielding short swords and deploying tricky pirate tools to kick some serious booty.

Reviews
Pirate Yakuza was a fun experience with loads of side content. Both ship and melee combat was fun and engaging. The story wasn't anything special, but it was fine for what it was. The only real issue i had. was the game crashing while being in ship combat. Didn't happen much, but still too often for my liking.
This game will shiver yer timbers

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun game it's a great entry
I was disappointed by how soft the game was. Endlessly tedious respawns of small groups of enemies made it frustrating to get from point a to point b. No real commitment to the psycho yakuza with memory loss and fantastical high seas adventure. It was more like a poorly skinned tedious walking simulator of puppies and kittens. I wasn't a fan.
First Yakuza game I played, and I gotta say... It's weird but real fun! Story is a bit melodramatic at times but that's expected from Japanese games/anime. It's like 20 games crammed into one type of thing.
It's a fun game. Shorter than the main series games, and a bit of a spin-off from the Yakuza games, but I've already had 30 hrs of play out of it and have enjoyed myself. I see a lot of negative reviews about this game but I think they're mad it's a full priced game, which if you wait about 5 minutes it doesn't have to be. I got it for $10 and it's well worth it.
Un épisode défouloir et loufoque à souhait !
