About
A new legend begins as you step into the steel toe boots of Goro Majima, a man who has lost his memory and reinvents himself as a pirate on the open sea.
Embark on an over-the-top, modern-day pirate adventure with an ex-yakuza, now pirate captain and his crew as they engage in exhilarating combat on land and sea in the hunt for lost memories and a legendary treasure.
Goro Majima, a notorious ex-yakuza suddenly finds himself shipwrecked on a remote island in the Pacific. Unable to remember even his own name, he sets sail in search of clues to his lost memories, accompanied by a boy named Noah who saved his life. Before long, they’re caught up in a conflict between cutthroat criminals, modern-day pirates, and other scoundrels over a legendary treasure.
Assemble a one-of-a-kind crew while upgrading your ship as you explore the open sea and forge your legend in the cannon fire of foes, unexpected friendships, and immense riches made along the way.
When an enemy pirate ship catches you in their sights, an exhilarating real-time cannon battle breaks out. Quickly maneuver into position while avoiding fire, then deliver devastating damage to board the enemy ship and take down the captain in all-out crew vs. crew brawls. Conquer the seas, discover hidden islands and acquire loads of loot like a true yakuza pirate!
Dynamically switch between the “Mad Dog” and “Sea Dog” fighting styles to mix-up attacks and deliver explosive combos, juggles, and aerial takedowns that reward your creativity with over-the-top action.
With “Mad Dog” style, utilize speed, agility, and flair to deliver precise yet powerful blows that stun your enemies into submission.
Or make enemies walk the plank with the “Sea Dog” style that has you dual-wielding short swords and deploying tricky pirate tools to kick some serious booty.

My problem with this game is the crash that happens randomly throughout the game. If you don't capped your framerate to 60 FPS, it surely will crash, some during the cutscene, some during the freeroam, some during the fight, no matter how high your PC specs are. My PC is not really strong but it happens to others whose PC is much stronger than mine. The story is quite cookie cutter imo. It is better than most of the game out there but to the Yakuza/Like A Dragon standpoint? It's quite in the middle, easily digestible. If you are a fan you Like A Dragon series and expect the extravaganza of the story they usually put off, it's there but not much. I sometimes do utter out "Wait, That's it?" throughout the story. And if your are really a Yakuza/Like A Dragon fan, the story might be predictable for you. Combat is fine, I quite like 2 fighting styles that they give. I do get the 1 bar heat action though. It's quite boring for many games that have so many heat bars that you can just spam heat actions. My guess is they want us to focus more on doing combo than spamming heat actions. And maybe that's why there are not much variation of heat action in games. I play on Professional difficulty and naval battle is a pain in the ass. One on one ship battle is ok. The problem is when I need to fight 1 big boss ship with 2-5 small ships that deals damage as much as boss ship. I got sank so many times. Maybe it's my skill issue on that part. Other stuff is alright. Minigames are fun but if you play other Yakuza/Like A Dragon games, you already played minigames in here. Would recommend for any person that seek out more Like A Dragon content to play/enjoy Wouldn't recommend to others

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 4: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Getting a full game with Majima as the main protagonist for the first time since Kiwami 2 is just wild. Reusing Hawaii from Infinite Wealth works surprisingly well, and sailing around with your own pirate ship, blasting enemy ships with cannons and boarding them is a blast at first. It definitely gets a bit stale later on with the coliseum stuff, feeling like a repeat of Gaiden with way too much repetitive fighting. The story is kind of weird and forgettable, but it's just so good to have a proper brawler where RGG goes all-in on the craziness. Plus, it features one of the absolute best sub-stories in the entire series, if you know, you know! Overall, a great follow-up to Infinite Wealth
I like all the Yakuza games, this one is probably just a A- for me though, I didn't like the 1 heat bar system or majima's mad dog combat though, and something about how peculiarly bright the light is at times (no HDR).
Absolute masterpiece from beginning to the end! Never expected to find out what the elixir of life actually was! All the characters felt very memorable and the story never felt stagnant! I can't wait for the next Like a Dragon! Shimano's Mad Dog.. He's become quite the old hound, ain't he?! 10 out of 10!
This is easily one of the best games I have ever played... for some reason. I am now playing through like a dragon the original, and it is so much fun like this game. Keep interest and buy all of these games while you can in a bundle. The most fun, ridiculous, somehow relatable game you might ever play. This is in my top 10 all time.
