Life is Strange: Before the Storm

This basically feels like an underwhelming DLC expansion to the original, with the Rewind mechanics swapped out for BackTalk (The Sims X Fallout), and 3 episodes instead of 5 if we ignore the Deluxe Edition upgrade that stopped going on sale since the remaster launched. I do like the graphics got nerfed in post processing effects because that seriously irritated my eyes (suffering from DES), and it doesn't have PhysX; however, why does this game need a GTX 1050 or RX 460 to run smoothly, despite its graphics resembling the first enough? Seriously though, if this was properly optimized it wouldn't stutter and screen tear like crazy, and it'd run fine on a GT 1030 or R7 445. What they make up for in the overall gameplay - not going back to the same places like 5 times, no needing to memorize anything to advance the story, having the episodes last longer with better pacing - it sorely lacks in dialogue, urgency of the plot, and branching outcomes. Clearly this is meant for literal teenage girls as Chloe kept yapping with so many characters about stupid crap I could care less about, and has no meaningful consequences later on. No matter what important decisions you make, the outcomes later on almost are similar so it's as if you weren't given real choices. It begins quite well and throughout along with the end being underwhelming with few good parts. They replaced the optional photos with graffiti, and it's kind of quirky and novel, yet not as memorable nor as fun to do to achieve them. I heavily dislike that if you mess up during the BackTalk sequences, you gotta either deal with it or reload to an earlier checkpoint, having to rewatch unskippable cutscenes. If it weren't for the story of the first game and this being on sale before the remaster came out, I probably would've skipped this game and been better from that. It's so strange they changed all the voice actors due to some union strike, and that turns me off (even if Bonus Episode doesn't). Not to spoil the story, although there's some lore inconsistencies due to different developers.

Me gustó mucho, es como una introducción al mundo al life is strange, recomiendo jugar este antes de life is strange ya que se puede conectar más con los personajes sobre todo con Rachel ya que es un personaje que se nos presenta en life is strange pero casi no se da contexto de lo fue este personaje, por eso recomiendo primero jugar este

Во время прохождения этой игры во мне кипело кучу эмоций. Это очень интересная игра... история в которую погружаешься с первых минут до самого конца. Эпизоды увлекательные и продолжительные, что невероятно радует. В этой истории повествуется о жизни Хлои Прайс до произошедшего в первой части. О ее трудностях и переживаниях. И пусть это не игра от авторов первой Life Is Strange, но атмосфера такая же чудесная. Если честно, то история с Рейчел, мне нравится больше. Но это чисто моё мнение. Здесь прекрасно всё. Диалоги, окружение, природа, продуманные персонажи... это можно перечислять вечно. Авторы превзошли себя. Всё получилось превосходно. Даже бы сказала, что буду скучать по этому...
