Life is Strange: Before the Storm

I am a sucker for good story games and never left a review for this game - so here is my 2 cents worth. I played this game around 2019 after it had already been on the market a few years. The game back then had a lot of good reviews and I had already felt like I missed all the excitement this game brought to their fans (FOMO if you will). Before the Storm was my first experience in the the "Life is Strange" series and after playing other's in this series, I felt it couldn't of been a better place to start the series, as I grew to learn about each of the character's in the story and saw how they were before (more innocent) before the original game Life is Strange. Before the Storm was the first game I ever played where I felt I got so invested in the story and the characters that when it came it an end, I felt weird - like I just lost real friends and, wow did it bother me, but that's what makes for great story telling, in game, book, movie, or otherwise. The game\story brought me to a place where I did lose several friends decades ago when I was younger because I had to move across the country and I never really got over that - and here is this game similar feelings with friends. I prefer action games, but this game has been one of the most memorable games I had ever played, and the few times I have revised the game those feelings were still there. All in all I liked the game very much, It is, at least for me, the perfect game to start in the series of the Life is Strange with the Chloe, Maxine, universe. Since I have been a fan of all the game series and would recommend to anyone who enjoys good story telling. The games aren't perfect, some weird glitches here and there, some story aspects I felt could of be flushed out better, but I enjoyed the game way more then it nuances. - Overall a great game!
