Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.57/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.86/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
LiDAR Exploration Program is an atmospheric adventure game with light horror elements, where you can't see the world around you. Use the lidar scanner to colorize everything around you. The game contains several levels to explore, in each of which you have to scan unknown objects.
You find yourself in complete darkness, in which you can't see anything, but thanks to the scanner you can find your way.
You will have to look for objects, some of them will be ordinary, and some will seem very strange and creepy. Using the scanner you will be able to explore them.
You can use a map that shows the environment from above. With its help you can find the very objects that need to be scanned.
You have to explore 8 different locations in each of which you have to look for objects. You can explore the forest, cave, abandoned city and other locations.
Quite simple and addictive gameplay, just walk and scan
Each level has its own color palette, some objects have different colors
8 levels available for exploration
Customization of patterns for the scanner
The game was inspired by Scanner sombre and the G'mod Lidar addon. The game was originally created as a prototype called "Lidar.exe".

While this idea has the potential to be SO MUCH more, what is here is a short fun experience.
this game is so good, i was expecting jumpscares and whatnot, but i was just given a beautiful, atmospheric game instead, and i love it
Having 'exploration' in the title is a promise not all games deliver on, but Lidar Exploration Program succeeds at capturing the feeling of exploration with its fresh approach and variety of tools to encourage you to take your time and enjoy the ride. I went through areas slowly, creating my own mental map while filling out the in-game map... then emptying it. (I would recommend starting with a 2-3mill dot limit, fading out older areas for those "Wait, I've been here before, I'll go left this time" moments, which you don't get with 10mill). While the base goal for each level is easy enough to reach if you want to go straight for the landmarks, there are other things you can find along the way to reward you for meandering. I loved the feeling of understanding an area that was previously blank, and finding out-of-the-way corners and going up/behind structures made it feel like I was sneaking places I wasn't allowed into. I can't say I've pieced together an understanding of what's happening narratively, but I was happy to just sink into each level's atmosphere and layout. I would have enjoyed background music for the levels - while I understand why the soundscape was more ambient, my exploration soon ended up sounding like the incessant chirping of bats. The game worked very well on Steam deck once I adjusted the controls and brightness. I would recommend frequent breaks if you're playing under the sun and/or you're prone to motion sickness, though!

The game excels at what it’s meant to do. And what it’s meant to do is give you the opportunity to colour the world with dots, transforming ordinary landscapes into something foreign and alluring thanks to the glow and colour of those very dots. Walk around, explore the world and paint a beautiful picture. There are elements of horror here, but they’re minor, and if you turn off the game’s soundtrack, most of the horror will vanish. Besides, the aim isn’t really to scare you, but rather to make you feel slightly uneasy. The heart-pounding sensation when scanning objects does the job quite well~
If you get scared in this game, there is no monster.
Im not usually a fan of walking sims
yeah
