Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry

[b]Приключения соевого ловеласа[/b] В старые игры никогда не играл, но раз в пару лет персонаж постоянно попадался в поле зрения, поэтому что представляет из себя серия - знаю. Если смотреть на данную игру, как на коротенький квест - сойдет. Приличная рисовка, хорошая озвучка. В остальном игра - ни для кого. 1. [b]Отсутствие обнажёнки[/b]. Игра априори 18+, перед экраном сидят взрослые дяденьки и тётеньки, а складывается ощущение что сделана она для детей младшего школьного возраста. Создатели побоялись показать лишнего. 2. [b]Наличие [spoiler]КоАП РФ Статья 6.21[/spoiler][/b]. Почти вся поп-культура 90х-00х относилась к секс-меньшинствам с иронией или откровенно их стебала. Собственно и сама серия следовала этому правилу. Тут же нам на серьёзных щах предлагают сопереживать двум омосекам. Зачем? Почему? Чтобы привлечь дополнительную аудиторию?! 3. [b]Катастрофически малое количество тонкого юмора[/b]. Та же проблема, что и в первом пункте. Большая часть шуток была бы смешной лет в 11-12. Ведь можно же написать диалоги с двойным-тройным дном, или которые становятся смешными при понимании контекста. Вот что бывает, когда издатель/разработчик не понимает для кого он делает игру, кто его целевая аудитория.

it took me a while to get and play this game as i had deep reservations on this new take on the old series. I wrote some of the walkthroughs for the LSL series before gamefaqs is a thing, and back then the text inputs are hard with a lot of guess work in the earlier versions. The later LSL versions are closer to what this game is emulating. There's similar "frustrations" in this game, and in those regard, i feel that it felt like playing an old LSL game, but it really isn't. LSL:WDDD has a lot of pixel hunting and dialog tree unlocks that you will have to do for progression. Sometimes the pixels/objects you need to click are only activated after a certain progression. So you are kind of playing "spot the difference" in the same room in some instances. I got this at a very cheap price so i thought why not. This 7 hours is my entire playthrough and I think for most people, it's going to be once and done. It's not exactly open tree, so things are always in a specific order. I'm kind of disappointed though. The jokes are mild in 2026. The references are quite eyerolling. what made me not recommend is that in mid to end game, the plot become very uncreative, which referenced some real life related incidences in 2010. the game bugged out 2 times in my entire playthrough, and got confused if i have a PS5 controller connected to the PC, so i had to unplug the controller and play it via mouse / keyboard.

What a garbage exploit of a known IP. Disregard any positive review this game gets. Leaving aside the puzzles and dialog, which are awful, there's an overall laziness in the design that can be felt throughout the entire UI. Absolute bottom of the barrel. Pick this up this only on sale, if you are a nostalgic with ♥♥♥♥ taste, and are satisfied with a bottom-of-the-barrel user experience that could have easily be avoided if the developer cared enough to play his own game.

Boring and unfunny (fun fact: my dad loves the ♥♥♥♥ out of this game lmao).

If you loved the cheesy, outdressed und uncool Larry that worked really hard to score and you learned to love in Larry 1 to 7, then you will absolutely be disappointed by this game. The "new" Larry feels like a misplaced grandpa, that ended up in a woke *ss time filled with new age garbage, that everyone hates. The main point of the old games is gone. It was exchanged with a lot of objects, that look like pen*ses, which makes the game feel like some LGBTQKADJSwhatever+ followers took over and rap*d. *addGRETAsHOWCOULDYOUmeme* Seriously, Larry died after Larry 7 (the one with the boat). Anything after that masterpiece is just pure garbage. And the last two games (this and the one after that) are the worst. They made Larry gay, just so you know. No offense, but stop killing great characters and create your own ones for your own agenda! These woke-transformations are ♥♥♥♥! What comes next? You haven't rap*d He-Man yet. Or Die Hard. Or Optimus Prime?

Game’s very wack. I tried playing it years ago when I first bought it, but ended up uninstalling it after 3 hours playtime because of some dumb combinations of items you could have never guessed, and the game does never give any hints about them. Decided to give it a second shot knowing that several things are not intuitive at all. I played it for 5 more hours and I was forced to look up videos for solutions at least three more times, until I got annoyed and said ♥♥♥♥ off to this. I was hoping that later on the game would have been more enjoyable, but to proceed you keep having to do things that make no sense, and it all just results in a random af experience. You need to get an item inside of a manhole? Just find a shoelace, combine it with a licorice roll to make it longer, then find a random stray dog chewing on a bone, give the dog something else to chew on to get the bone and put it at the end of the shoelace to stick it on the item in the manhole and pull it up. Even a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ would come up with a better design.

Totally understand why AL Lowe wanted nothing to do with this LSL reboot. Dont waste your money, even free is a rip off.

Things I like about it; 1. Good Art style 2. Good voice acting 3. Generally good presentation all around 4. Didn't experience any bugs beside the tinder app thing which has a few bugs that don't really matter tbh. Cons; 1. The main issue I had was getting stuck, going to a walkthrough then being like "how would I know that???" 2. Leading onto this, the items blend into the background too much or are really small or are kinda blocked by another interaction so you have to click in a very specific spot on the thing. One example was a bit where I was sure I clicked everything in the whole game, checked the walkthrough and it goes "you should click more at that first bit you were at" and it was infuriating. Overall you'll like the general presentation but the puzzles suck and you'll spend 70% of the time checking a walkthrough and getting annoyed by the answer instead of being like "oh yeah!".
