This game is a great purchase for a Lego or LOTR fan. Only problem is that the game story stops after the dragon escapes Erebor.
After multiple game breaking bugs, and crashes galore, I cannot recommend this game. It also only includes 2 of the 3 stories. So you're entirely missing out on the ending of the hobbit. No Idea why they never finished this. Even as a avid lord of the rings fan its sad to see the lack of effort. You spend endless hours after beating the main story just trying to 100% the game, and you gotta pray the game doesn't bug your save and have you missing one item. Not enjoyable for achievement hunters like myself.

Still better than the Rings of Power The game uses voice tracks and songs from the movies which is nice. However, I should note that this game only encompasses two of the movies, an Unexpected Journey & Desolation of Smaug, the Battle for the Five Armies is not included. They were going to make it as DLC and never did. Therefore there is a lot of levels with no enemies in it at all compared to the Lord of the Rings game. This game does have Lord of the Rings characters in that include (Bilbo Baggins Old, Frodo, Samwise Gamgee, Rosie Cotton, Baby Gimli, Gandalf the Grey, and Sauron (however, it is not black armor Sauron). The locations you get to explore include (Shire, Lake Town, Dol Galdur, Lonely Mountain, Weathertop, Rivendell, Lothlorien, Mirkwood Forest, the High Fells [Witch King area], Trollshaws, and Bree) Pros: - Open world Middle Earth game - Great music soundtrack straight from the movies - Added mounts to the game Cons: - Only contains two out of three movies - Lack of characters from Battle of the Five Armies - lack of enemies to face in levels mostly puzzles

Bigos będzie jeszcze smaczniejszy, gdy na drugi dzień podgotujemy go ponownie.
Don't buy this game. It is unfinished, it only contains the 1st and 2nd movies, the 3rd was a planned DLC that was never released. So the game ends endruptly.

The game is mostly fun, but the amount of bugs is mind-boggling. Some missions in free play are straight-up unfinishable due to freezing or black screening. It’s less “adventure” and more “will the game crash this time?” The loot mechanic exists purely to keep you busy like jangling keys in front of a toddler. Tons of collectibles, zero satisfaction. You grind, you unlock stuff, and then you ask yourself why you’re doing any of this as your character clips into the floor for the third time. The story is just 2/3 of The Hobbit, and they don’t even try to hide it. The game ends like: “Anyway, that’s enough Tolkien for today.” No conclusion, no payoff, just vibes and credits. Imagine watching a movie that cuts to black right before the climax and a LEGO minifig shrugs at you. Performance-wise, it feels like the game is held together by hope, duct tape, and Gandalf whispering “please don’t crash” into the code. When it works, it’s charming. When it doesn’t, it’s rage-inducing in that quiet, controller-down, stare-at-the-wall kind of way. Verdict: If you can get this dirt cheap and have a high tolerance for bugs and unfinished stories, sure. Otherwise, skip it. This game didn’t need more polish — it needed to actually be finished.

Худшая лего игра, в которую я играл и которая имеет достижения. В этой игре слишком много экспериментов по типу крафта или ещё кое чего похуже - красных и местных "золотых" блоков. Ну в какой лего игре было видано, что чтобы получить коллектеблс, надо сходить в сюжетный лвл, получить там шняжку и потом уже подойти к нпс, выдавший квест? А про метод получения красных блоков я вообще молчу... собирай чертежи, чтобы потом их скрафтить за КОЛЛЕКТЕБЛСЫ НАХОЙ. ♥♥♥♥ в какой игре ты тратишь коллектеблс, чтобы получить другой коллектеблс? Почему сразу не сделали так, что для того, чтобы получить коллектеблс, надо получить другой коллектеблс, чтобы потом скрафтить ещё один, ах да...они и это в игру добавили. Короче единственное, что хорошее в этой игре - сюжет(его кстати тоже засрали, не до конца рассказав сюжет фильма) проходить на 100% не рекомендую, тем более там баг, который без танцев с бубнами не пофиксить. 2 коллектеблс из 10
If on sale or for someone who just wants to complete collection games this is a good choice. But it is very aged, incompatable with newer systems, and missing most of the third movie. This game def launched before they knew how it would end. for those that care about a lego game story this one ends prematurely
