LEGO® Jurassic World

Absolutely horrible. The story mode is okayish but everything outside of it is horrible. Freeplay is absolutely boring and uninteresting. Just like all Lego games before this, freeplay is completely gimped when it comes to levels. Minikits are usually same mechanics/tasks repeated in every level (like destroy 3 things that builds 3 things or destroy these 4 cameras etc etc.). There is no new areas attached to freeplay/minikits, you’re just replaying same levels , same areas just this time, you can destroy this one brick that reveals a minikit. I miss the days where doing freeplay in levels would actually lead to new areas. In fact Lego dimensions (which came after this) got it right. When it comes to “open world” it’s more like small/linear hub worlds that again, provide nothing in terms of puzzles and collecting gold bricks ends up being the same as collecting minikits in levels. It’s super dull and boring. Then you have bonus levels. Legit the worst bonus levels so far. They just took the chase sequences from main levels, but now you play as dinosaur! So you have dinosaurs chasing dinosaurs. When I say “they took it” I mean, they shamelessly ripped half a minute to a minute sections from main levels without doing any changes. Absolutely diabolical Ofcourse, just like Lego hobbit , you have bugs which made 100% this insane chore. Random crashes. Sometimes your collectibles wouldn’t register so you have to restart the game and pray it will either auto-register or you have to redo everything all over again. Finally, because it was based on Jurassic park, there’s really nothing here to work with when it comes to making a game. To be honest, I’m not a fan of Jurassic park but I do appreciate it. But the whole core ( locations, characters etc.) were just boring to me. Most of the 20 levels here are esentially jungle levels.

This Lego game is worth it. This game is different from the other lego games and the dinosaurs and characters are just perfect. The story is great it and it makes characters who seems that they don't do anything do things.

Great LEGO game especially if you like the movies, which I'm a big fan of. 10/10
