A good game for kids and a love letter to all Batman fans.

(My opinion. no hate to the Lego community) As a person who has played the Arkham games and Lego batman games since they were 6 years old and now coming up on 18. It is very disappointing to be so immersed in a gritty Arkham like world just to be completely ruined but constant comedy. i get that Lego games have comedy but if you try to mix something gritty with it, it wont work. I have often been detached from the immersion because something like batman hiding behind a plant in plain sight kills me inside. Every second there is some silly ♥♥♥♥ ruining what the batman is supposed to be (especially in a world like this). Like even the Lego games before this one didn't have comedy this constant. Like why is batman dancing with Jim when they are supposed to be chasing after Carmine Falcone. Tf. you cant just take multiple things that are complete opposites and expect everyone to not be confused and totally immersed. For instance, the Thomas and Martha Wayne death just completely gets bent over a table and railed a couple of times because the Lego theme wont show his story of grief not going as away internally. I mean batman isn't even grieving the loss. the next scene Bruce seems completely fine that his parents died like wtf. In my opinion the removal of Bruce and his emotion towards his parents just ruins his motive in the first place. And if i didn't know any better i would guess Bruce is High coke because why is he so damn happy. I get that its a Lego game and is supposed to family friendly but it feels like the developers are too scared to offend somebody. Like keep comedy its great. but remove a lot of it and make batman more serious like the older Lego games. Make it feel like this is his destiny instead of him dilly dallying through a play place in the iceberg lounge. And why the ♥♥♥♥ do i pull out a pan mid fight. Hope somebody can agree with me at least a little because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Its not even a bad game too. its just a giant cluster ♥♥♥♥ of things ive already seen but ♥♥♥♥ on by people we call "Devs".
