Looks and plays better than I thought it would. No crashes so far. I played this as a kid and really liked it. I'm nearly 30 now and still impressed. It's pretty great.

Crap Game. Been wanting to play this for over an decade since I first played the demo on the xbox 360. It feels like an asset flip that just manages to turn on. The main character is generic as heck with no personality, there is a bare bones story other than go here & kill stuff while everyone else does the fun stuff. There are no upgrades, no levels, no power ups. The game balance gets worse as you go on, and you are punished for using certain weapons. There is a flaming mob that explodes and causes damage if you kill it up front. There are boss battles, like the Kraken, where the enemy soldiers get in the way detracting from the experience. You got an majestic titan of a monster, and I have to spend time making sure that the generic evil soldiers did not respawn. The werewolves are balanced enough & give you a jump scare at times that gets cut when they are place with the evil soldiers, taking you out of the urgency as bullets enter your body. The final level takes the cake. You are in an area where you have to travel to three power nodes and overload them. You deal with a bunch of soldiers AND infinitely spawning werewolves. Werewolves only die when you destroy their heads. Then after you somehow deal with this cluster mess and overload the clusters or whatever, you have to travel to the central node & overload it, facing respawned soldiers & werewolves who are now in their phased form. Beat them, add some energy to the final node & then circle back to gather more energy until it is done, facing more infinite werewolves. And you are supposed to do this on your animus/energy meter. Your meter will be how you de power the phased werewolves, how you heal, how you over power the final node, and ect. Good luck balancing all of that because there are no upgrades to increase maximum health or your anima pool. And you are supplied with two npc soldiers to help you out, but they get killed in moments by the werewolves whose battle ai makes them target them first. Do all this with no check or save point in-between. There should have been a checkpoint after overloading all three nodes. Also, the animation locks from reloading have killed me many times. This was not worth the wait or the money. This was a legendary mess.
is this really worth the title of one of the worst fps games of its generation? no. not at all. yeah, it's buggy but i mean there's buggier out there. it's nothing extraordinary, hell, it's nothing great, but it's not the worst thing i've played
A decent FPS. It's got some interesting ideas, although the game doesn't do much with them. Still, it's an entertaining way to spend a few hours.
This game is a buggy, unwieldly mess. Aside from hitboxes being awful and your targeting reticle giving you false positives on being able to damage targets, you constantly get caught on ankle-high barriers or terrain well below your field of view. To top it all off, if you manage to slog through the repetitive gameplay, uninspired design choices and story that fail to live up to its premise, the final elevator for the "dramatic" finish will glitch you out through the floor and render you unable to actually complete the game.
Легендарная игра моего детства, никогда не забуду <3
Honestly? It's not *that* bad, at least not as bad as people made it out to be, as long as you don't go in expecting too much Guns are fun, killing things is satisfying. And if you're fatigued by the glorified movies that AAA studios have been pumping out for the last decade or so that take 20 or more hours to finish, this one only took me seven. It's doable in probably five. On the downside, it's buggy, it's dated, it doesn't have much enemy variety, story is pretty cheesy (which in my opinion adds to the charm), and the ending is absolute ass and ends in a cliffhanger If you're looking to play a game that has that distinct mid-00s/early 2010s innocence to it, this game is for you if you can handle the jank. Also: if you happen to get the game-breaking bug towards the end of the story where you fall through the elevator and out of the map, changing the max frames from 300 to 30 in the engine configuration ini fixed it for me, just change it back when you get to the next checkpoint
