The physics in Legendary Tales was built to mimic the way real weapons feel and act as close as possible while still being fun to play. Weapons have their own weight so that larger swings will do more damage. Not only that but enemies and destructible items also react to how hard you hit them for a truly engaging experience.

There are a host of different weapon types to suit your play style so find what works for you! And for every weapon type you will find so many variations on their stats thanks to random number generated items. The items are classed into five categories ranging from normal to Legendary. which not only look awesome but have special abilities. What abilities? You’ll have to get one for yourself to find out.

As you fight your way through the world, your character will grow based on how you play. But there’s more to growth than just how you fight, work your way through the magic and skills available to truly bring your character to the next level.

Weapons are fun and all but through the skill tree you can improve your abilities with combat skills or find yourself a Legendary item with their own special abilities and even more, you can upgrade their skills!
If hunting for weapons in the dungeons isn’t for you then we have good news! You can create your own weapons with ingredients found on your adventures, or by honing the weapons you’ve collected. You can also make potions to prepare deep dungeon crawling and disassemble items you found during your adventures to get ingredients and enhance your crafted weapons or potions with them.
Get ready for an epic adventure in VR! Put on your headset, find some friends and head into the dungeon to start creating your own Legendary Tales.

물리엔진만 샌드박스인 모 게임과 비교는 아닌거 같다 알차네 3만원대면 2만원대면 더굳인데 업적 달성율 보니 이거 사고 못하는 사람많나보네 어렵긴하다
Overall a fun vr rpg game, though you cant really experiment that much with the builds on the early-mid game unlike in grimlord where you can reset points and allocate it anywhere willy nilly anytime you want.
I’m kinda conflicted. I want to like this game and there is some neat stuff but the UI, physics and world all feel so random. I have a serious gripe that it does not support the pico4 controls, it has ten other has been or irrelevant options, but not pico4? this aggravates the UI issue. Anyway for 38 bucks it’s a tough sell, and tha on sale. It feels kinda beta/early access and lacks polish compared to something like blade and sorcery (maybe unfair since that has been in the works since the dawn of vr). Nice selection of weapons and when the range is right fighting feels pretty good, maintain the right range for things not to get sticky and clipping is pretty tough and the Ai doesn’t do you any favors. Usual vr issues of arms and weapons get caught on everything and feel like rubber. Npc interactions are odd, merchants are odd. I can’t figure out the crafting at all, but don’t really care to. Pulling monsters with bow is pretty easy. They all dumb and not connected at least in early game that I have seen. There are a bunch of big skill tree’s that look pretty interesting… but I bought a spell then just disappeared off the wheel. I no idea what did wrong. The help section is broken into categories that seem like they were made up by a five-year-old. It’s really hard to find relevant sections for basic things. I’d only recommend this on sale even then be warned. Edit: After getting some time and and spending some time with the crafting, I still find tedious, but dose provide some upgrades. Wivrn VR runs the game much MUCH better then current ALVR but there are some oddities. The extra performance makes things funner/faster.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game is, to put it as simply as I can, what happens if Diablo 2 and Blade and Sorcery have a baby. The story isn't very well translated, as this is an independent development team from an Asian country (I want to say Korea), but it provides a clear indication of things to do and try out, places to go, etc. In short, it gives you the guideposts for the game in general. Beyond that, it's much more about exploring and murdering your way through enemies to find sick loot, and you can do it in all kinds of ways! I've played double daggers, spear and buckler, and bow on my dex character (I prefer the spear and buckler combo the most), I've played a lightning mage (super sick calling down lightning bolts on enemy heads), and a 2h-sword wielder. You can also just straight punch everything to death like some kind of fantasy world Saitama. All are fun, all are viable. The launch was a little rough with controllers and lost save files, but they've patched the problems and the game plays great. The cross play with PSVR2 is seamless, and in general, I can't recommend this game enough for all VR players. It's taken all my gaming time since its release, so ignore my relatively short play time. I have to be very choosy about what I play, and this game has me by the gonads.
Most of my experience with this game is with an outdated version, that being said i love this game and would play more if the combat was more like Blade and Sorcery. still recommended
i love this sword combat game
잼이따!

그래도재밋어요
I've got thousands of hours in VR at this point, and nothing tops how much fun this game is. The way parrying works is extremely satisfying, magic is pretty fun, and the viability of a punch build is always appreciated. The game might occasionally feel rigged against you (Why can't I just get a weapon with a good roll, probably a skill issue) but enough time and effort WILL see you get what you're looking for. No P2W, no microtransactions, just a solid, very enjoyable VR RPG. There's something about parrying an enemy's blade with your own blade that is flips all the right switches in my brain. It's INCREDIBLY satisfying. It's a nice workout, too - unless you're playing mage, then it's not as much of a workout; you just stand back and throw your funny magic, which also has its own gestures that are pretty fun to pull off as well. The game is fun alone, and even more fun with friends. It scales pretty nicely with me and 2 others playing. I remember we tried it with 4, but only the one time, and enemies seemed like they took a bit TOO long to kill with 4 players. Regardless of whether you're alone or with 3 others, I think you should still be able to defeat a non-elite, non-boss enemy in a one-on-one fight. I imagine that was still possible with 4, but it was taking a while. My only major gripe with this game is the lack of HUD scaling. I cannot see the markers in the top-left to show quests, and I cannot fully see the health bars, nor can I really at all see the names, of enemies (as they're too high up for me to see properly.) On any stream I see of the game, this is not an issue, but a couple of my friends have also had a similar problem, despite their stream showing no such issue. Giving players the ability to move the hud a little closer to the center of the screen would fix this problem and be a nice Quality-Of-Life change. I had some serious performance issues starting out. However, I fixed this by: -Linking my Quest 2 to my PC as I normally would - this brings me to the whitespace "hub" of quest link in VR -Instead of starting SteamVR to open Legendary Tales, going onto my desktop and launching legendary tales on steam instead. This doesn't start SteamVR, but opens the game on the headset all the same, also displaying you are in VR on steam as well. Overall, a very enjoyable VR game, by far the most fun I've ever had in VR. Not completely perfect, but well worth getting if you play VR often, or grabbing on a sale if you only occasionally play VR games.
