The physics in Legendary Tales was built to mimic the way real weapons feel and act as close as possible while still being fun to play. Weapons have their own weight so that larger swings will do more damage. Not only that but enemies and destructible items also react to how hard you hit them for a truly engaging experience.

Want to try sneaky kills with a dagger? Hit your enemies from afar with a bow? Or just mash some faces with a morning star? There are a host of different weapon types to suit your play style so find what works for you! And for every weapon type you will find so many variations on their stats thanks to random number generated items. The items are classed into five categories ranging from normal to Legendary. which not only look awesome but have special abilities. What abilities? You’ll have to get one for yourself to find out.

As you fight your way through the world, your character will grow based on how you play. But there’s more to growth than just how you fight, work your way through the magic and skills available to truly bring your character to the next level.

Weapons are fun and all but through the skill tree you can improve your abilities with combat skills or find yourself a Legendary item with their own special abilities and even more, you can upgrade their skills!
If hunting for weapons in the dungeons isn’t for you then we have good news! You can create your own weapons with ingredients found on your adventures, or by honing the weapons you’ve collected. You can also make potions to prepare deep dungeon crawling and disassemble items you found during your adventures to get ingredients and enhance your crafted weapons or potions with them.
Get ready for an epic adventure in VR! Put on your headset, find some friends and head into the dungeon to start creating your own Legendary Tales.

this is a good game, people who say its bad either don't have the time to grind a little or they have a terrible attention span. Graphics are pretty, swordplay is a solid 8/10, is basically an open world with a decent amount of quests to do and the loop of collecting loot is satisfying. However, this game is NOT worth 55 dollars! Wait until this game goes on sale or just buy blade and sorcery lol. Overall 8.5/10, if you like the 70's dark fantasy retro vibe then this game is for you!

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,420 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Don't let the bad reviews scare you, they're just cheap. This is a great game.
sooooo, at the time of this reveiw, it will say i 'played for 1.3 hours' if by trouble shooting and trying to adjust settings and whatnot to get the game to work and failing is playing...then sure. the game is fundamentally broken for my system. i do not know how a game can have you sit in the steam home and then play audio, and basically still not work.
it's honestly really great.
this game is horrible the controls are so bad cant even make it through the tutorial
WE NEED CHINESE!!!!! DONT U KNOW HOW BIG THERE IS THE CHINESE MARKET?
Had to redo my review. Sorry but I just don't think this game is worth it. It's got potential, but no matter what while you play, you can feel it's not built by seasoned devs. It's just too janky in places. I was looking forward to play crossplay with a friend on quest but because the dev charges wayyy to much for this game its not selling so crossplay won't happen. If you're going to make this an expensive title. Make it worth it. When I pick up a sword it shouldn't be upside down. Little things that make big impact on this game. Just not worth it.
I purchased this game to play co op with a friend. It was literally what I searched for. After giving this game numerous attempts, the multiplayer simply doesn't work. I could get into specifics but they've already been noted before and the company has numerous messages about these issues on their discord. Essentially everything that has to do with projectile based combat as the CLIENT doesn't work. Spells don't go where you aim them and FORGET using a bow if you're not hosting. I like the atmosphere. The music and sound effects are acceptable. Very dark game as far as illumination goes. I have no issues but friend says its hard to see and adjustments in game do very little to help. Monster variety, so far, is lacking. Magic and magic combat feels very generic. Each 'element' has VERY similar projectiles and spells. Feels like copy paste from element to element. Avoid playing this if you're mobility limited. They do warn you of this when you enter the game but they have a seated play option. If you plan on playing while seated, I would recommend avoiding. The weapon gripping 'system' is not seated-play friendly. So 2 handed weapons are basically unusable while seated. Holstering weapons on your side is unusable while seated. No way to really adjust like in Arizona Sunshine or Dungeons of Eternity. Stealth combat is there, but not really viable early on and not at all in a co op setting. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Either way, it was not fun. Skill 'trees' seems oddly organized. Does not feel intuitive as they've clearly tried to make it. No teleport from quest hub to quest hub which seems odd. I get a waypoint out in the middle of a clear area but no waypoint to get back to a previous 'town'? Random crashes. Items lost when dropped on ground. Anyway, give it a 2 hour try. Look for the issues that have been pointed out. Solo play is probably very fun. I bought it to play co op and gave it an honest attempt.
