Are you ready to step down into the darkness? Explore winding roads and ruined castles that will take you down to the heart of the underworld, to defeat the evil corrupting the land. But be careful down there, the road is dangerous so you best bring a friend. Up to 4 players can play Legendary Tales in co-op mode. Grab some friends, trade some items, and head down into the dungeon to fight your way through the darkness together.
The physics in Legendary Tales was built to mimic the way real weapons feel and act as close as possible while still being fun to play. Weapons have their own weight so that larger swings will do more damage. Not only that but enemies and destructible items also react to how hard you hit them for a truly engaging experience.
Want to try sneaky kills with a dagger? Hit your enemies from afar with a bow? Or just mash some faces with a morning star? There are a host of different weapon types to suit your play style so find what works for you! And for every weapon type you will find so many variations on their stats thanks to random number generated items. The items are classed into five categories ranging from normal to Legendary. which not only look awesome but have special abilities. What abilities? You’ll have to get one for yourself to find out.
As you fight your way through the world, your character will grow based on how you play. But there’s more to growth than just how you fight, work your way through the magic and skills available to truly bring your character to the next level.
Weapons are fun and all but through the skill tree you can improve your abilities with combat skills or find yourself a Legendary item with their own special abilities and even more, you can upgrade their skills!
If hunting for weapons in the dungeons isn’t for you then we have good news! You can create your own weapons with ingredients found on your adventures, or by honing the weapons you’ve collected. You can also make potions to prepare deep dungeon crawling and disassemble items you found during your adventures to get ingredients and enhance your crafted weapons or potions with them.

If you can get past the ever slowly movement, Its pretty enjoyable, the combat feels pretty nice. it does have its moments of being repetitive very often, and its Grindy. but if you're in to grinding and killing monsters with excessive force swings, then this is for you!

this game is way too difficult, and the dungeons present in previous versions either don't exist or are deep, deep into the game. I wouldn't know, as even with another high level friend, these bosses put Dark Souls to shame. wasn't worth 60-50 bucks, isn't worth 40. seriously, just go buy Blade and Sorcery and save yourself ten bucks.

This has got to be one of the most well-made indie vr games I've ever played. Despite the little content that is added as of right now the game is so easy to replay with the number of different builds and skills you can use to beat the dungeons with. Can't wait for this DLC to come out and enjoy this awesome game again.
Real Ugandan Action
Buy the game at maybe 35$ not worth the 55$ price tag. It took them 2 years and several broken promises to finally release an update. The main guy (B.J) cant communicate to save his life. Instead of giving us updates every month of whats going on and why we haven't received the update he just ghosts us for several months at a time. Now the update is finally out, they added a new map which seems okay. They took away your running speed and gave you a dash, they should not of taken the running away and just added the dash as an extra ability. Combat is still the same, magic is still the same. Is it worth 35$? Hmm maybe I think I can see buying it at that price. 55$? Hell no.
The game used to be very fun, especially with friends, but I cannot justify buying the game for the current $55 USD price tag. I bought it before the price increase for $35 USD Wait for a sale.
This is the most fun I've had in a VR game in YEARS. Fighting mechanics are rich thought out with a lot more complexity than meets the eye. Graphics are stunning, even when playing on lower graphics settings. The RPG elements are intuitively woven in to the gameplay. The controls could be better but are still good. I love the games crafting system It's morrowind meets dark souls in VR. My only complaints are that some enemies (particularly the ones with spears and the bigger bosses) will get RIGHT up in your face, nose to nose with you which makes for a really awkward fight, it's almost as if the games coding isn't accomadating for the length of their weapons. I love the games dark fantasy art style but some things look too cartoony to fit in like the first NPC you meet, the bats, and the siege hammer. Your character moves so slow even when out of combat that it can sometimes make travel feel like a slog (maybe make it so you move faster with no weapons equipped? This would make unarmed fighting more fun too) And I could complain about the price but I bought this on sale for 50 dollars which I think is more appropriate.
Seems like a game that would be made on some "VR RPG Maker" app. Very generic and was not worth it for even $40.
