Reviews
An absolute mess from start to finish
I honestly do not understand the positive reviews... the choices you make basically do not matter and some of the character decisions / actions are just ridiculous. Definitely cannot recommend this.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Jul 25 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The chinese control everything.
An alright game. I don't like that you can't skip through scenes you've already seen, makes the game a little tedious when replaying.
I was late in all my decisions.
Late Shift is a choose your own adventure style FMV game. It's actually a pretty well made short film with decent directing, cinematography and acting that is not bad at all. The story however is just not that memorable and I don't care to play the game again for that very reason. The sound production is good but sometimes the music did get a bit loud. The actors sounded good and the production quality overall is pretty solid. There's not much else to say about this since it's basically just a film with choices. Since the story isn't very strong, I only recommend this one to die hard FMV fans. This is again one of those games, that has been on my backlog for a long time. First FMV ever played. The acting is nice, the story good, the time for making decisions sufficient and the possibility to pause the game in case one gets distracted adds to the positive experience. Runs well, although at the start it had a little bit of a "slow fps issue"(RTX 4070, 8GB, Win11 25H2), it seems. Bottom line: strong recommendation on this one. Good replay value due to different decisions leading to 7 possible endings.
Right from the start, the vibe signals something special. Even the title feels right. I got caught off guard by the first choice. The story is fast-paced, it gets you hooked, makes you wonder what is going to happen next. I noticed that some of the small choices early on affect later major outcomes. This is something that many choices-matter games fail to do. The cast and acting were surprisingly high-quality. In some scenes, the inner voice of our protagonist speaks, handled really effectively. The overall flow is so structured and seamless that small weaknesses don't bother at all. You can play 2 runs in a row and it won't be boring, the length is just fine. Be aware, you cannot skip scenes in this movie, even when you replay it, so achievements are going to take some time. It took me 6+ hours to get them all and watch every ending. The variety of endings genuinely surprised me — very well done. One con to mention is that sometimes some scenes would get cut right before the dialogue ends. This doesn't ruin anything, but still, makes you wonder if anyone watched the full thing before release. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3758556086
