This is an easy recommend. A literal non-horror ghost story at around 10-hour runtime. A pretty good one at that. Oh, although it is made by Laplacian, there is no romance plot in this game.Instead, it is an urban fantasy mystery that packs a surprising amount of philosophical ideas into a neat narrative package. The main ghost heroine, Shiori Kugayama, is an amusing and quirky lead. There are characters and rules to establish, and she does that well in the first half because she doesn't understand the rules either. Discovering the bits of rules of this world alongside her is pretty fun. The mystery plot is heartbreaking and dark. Sure, there are jokes here and there, specifically a lot of East Asian urban legend jokes and a few morbid and pop culture ones. But you know, ghost stories are usually about how people process their own endings. These backstories are quite disturbingly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, and most of the ghosts process those in an understated way that would actually hurt less if they're more dramatic. The latter half of the main story is solid and fast-paced. There are always new clues or twists right around the corner. The detective part is intriguing, and it has a surprisingly satisfying ending that feels earned. My only real gripe is the protagonist's personality, which is rather subdued. There is a valid narrative reason for that, and the eventual payoff is good. But a protagonist who barely talks still makes some conversations feel like Shiori is talking to a tree or something. Some lore segments feel like infodumps because our protagonist just doesn't say anything. The choice system is also a bit complicated. I did run into a narrative wall and had to consult a walkthrough to reach the normal/true endings.

日常调查单口相声太无聊，真结局又太生硬，整个故事也没有很惊艳。唯一没得喷的就是美术，人物画的都很好看。建议三四十左右入手，这游戏就值这么多。和神作不沾边，买来玩一玩消遣一下倒是不错。游戏六十分，画风再加十分，总分70吧

一部优秀的作品可以让玩家身临其境我再一次体会到了这种感觉，令人眼前一亮的画风，非常独特的剧情，讲述了与各种幽灵之间的故事与互动，既有幽默风趣也有令人潸然泪下的地方，结局会和选择发生改变无疑在优秀的剧情上面再添了一笔。 如果你喜欢这类游戏我强烈推荐试试。

画风可以给到九分 立绘可以给到十分，角色的性格也都各自鲜明，特点也能让人轻松记住。 剧情反转虽然能猜出来大概，但是主角是栞的妹妹是真没想到，在剧情和视角都有暗示，但确实很难注意到这一点，伏笔回收和埋的深度很高。THE END的温情结局让我现在也没能走出来，有感动，但更多还是意难平。
