[h1]Gelungener 3D-Platformer mit Speedrunning-Attitüde[/h1] Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara dürfte wohl der bis dato beste Ableger von Chibigs „Mara“-Serie sein. Dieses mal bekommt man einen 3D-Platformer mit Fokus auf Speedrunning. Das gelungene Leveldesign, die angenehme Steuerung sowie die kurze Länge der Stages sorgen dafür, dass selbst jene Spaß mit dem Spiel haben werden, die sonst nichts mit Speedrunning am Hut haben. Außerdem ist der Speedrunning-Aspekt in den meisten Levels rein optional. Tatsächlich gibt es auch viele optionale Schätze zu entdecken, damit man auf der Hub-Insel neue Outfits und dergleichen erwerben kann. Auch das Herumschippern auf der Meeres-Oberwelt ist ein nettes Feature, um das eigentlich recht kurze Spiel größer und komplexer erscheinen zu lassen. Leider ist das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis recht wacklig. 20 Euro für ein Spiel, welches man in unter 8 Stunden mit 100 % Achievements abschließen kann, erscheint ein wenig hoch. Vor allem auch deswegen, da immer noch keine Sprachausgabe geboten wird. Außerdem nervt es, dass das Spiel keine Anstalten macht die Spielwelt und Charaktere zu erklären. Die Entwickler gehen wohl fest davon aus, dass jeder mit dem ersten Serienteil „Summer in Mara“ vertraut ist. Doch das sind alles Dinge, welche den Spielspaß nicht ernsthaft trüben. Wer Bock auf einen 3D-Platformer mit Speedrunning-Elementen hat, der darf bedenkenlos zugreifen. I love tropical settings, and this platforming adventure nails those vibes perfectly! Lots of movement potential and, on top of that, time trial challenges for each level (always a plus for me). Exploring the sea is fun, the challenge is light but satisfying, the characters are cute and Koa herself has several clothing options to unlock. Good stuff!
A nice platformer, a mix of Crash and Banjo. Got it on sale, so it was a nice short game worth the price. The only thing I dislike is the camera in some of the boss encounters that hinder your progression.
All your other games have portuguese language. Why this one doesnt?

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara, es un videojuego de plataforma de los protagonistas de Summer in Mara Aspectos positivos. Su precio (y rebajado aun mas), dos niveles de dificultad, conseguir todos los coleccionables, los enemigos finales, ideal si te gusta los speed runs asequibles. Aspectos negativos: El logro "Todo como estaba" no me ha saltado ,a pesar de haberlo hecho, la camara en algunas fases (pocas) es horrible. Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara es un videojuego para pasar el rato, en el modo normal hay ciertas fases que tendras que repetir varias veces para conseguir todo.
Cute casual racing game. I loved to revisit places from Summer in Mara. Plentiful of levels with few perspective variants.
