Reviews
"...Klaus is a standard 2D platformer. And whilst it doesn’t really invent any new mechanics, it does do a great job of mashing together a bunch of classics to keep things interesting..." "...it’s a good game. The problem is that there are so many 2D platformers out there these days, so many good ones, and so many phenomenal ones." 7/10 Full review at https://darkzero.co.uk/game-reviews/klaus-pc-review/
Puzzle-platformer which gives you two character with differing abilities who must (mostly) work together to get through the stages. Also has a sort of meta aspect in terms of breaking the fourth wall and having the characters ponder their own reality. So, business as usual for indie platformers basically. It may have felt slightly fresher when it was initially released back in 2016 but even from the first two sentences I wrote there we can all probably think of a number of similar examples in this day and age. Nothing really wrong with, but nothing all that interesting either.
