The game is quite fun, and I was pretty invested in the story, but sadly the controls annoy me, both with controller and m+kb. Choosing interactive objects with the right stick is pretty unresponsive for some reason, especially when it comes to the gates I need to open. A level that had two of them back to back is actually what made me quit. Also, the attacks are pretty unresponsive as well. Too often when I try to uppercut or smash down all I get is a regular punch. And I guarantee that both my controller and keyboard are working fine. On another point, there should definitely be a auto run option, since I barely walked in my entire run. Also, why does the game save only in the beginning of each "world" and not in the beginning of each chapter? That would have been much better. While this game has a lot of heart, sadly I can't recommend it.
Super Meat Boy with a dash of The Stanley Parable existentialism. I enjoyed my time with this game, although every time I got a hidden memory piece I had a hard time not yelling out "WARP ZONE!!!" Fully Steam Deck compatible without any issues. The control scheme is very complex and uses many inputs, so not for those with dexterity limitations. There is a bug in the final boss where the right terminal status is not reset after dying. As a result, you can get stuck in the boss battle and not even realize anything is wrong until you've gone through several cycles of boss attacks without an opportunity to counter-attack. When this happens you need to restart the chapter or section and the flag will be reset.

ME VOY A TATUAR A KLAUS EN EL BRAZO
So far im amazed about the concept of this game. I've never played a platform game where you have to use your mouse to interact with the obstacles and the fact that you can control 2 characters is mind boggling. Graphics are not too bad, from an aesthetic point of view it looks simple and cartoony. The controls are a tiny bit weird, especially with the ladders in the game. Combining the ladders and the difficult obstacles can be frustrating sometimes. You use WASD to control, the arrow keys are used to control the camera, your mouse to click on obstacles, its a well designed game. The music is the best part. Sometimes i get high and the music takes you places you'll never suspect. The treadmills...♥♥♥♥ the treadmills. If you cant beat an obstacle and keep dying at the same checkpoint 100 times, the obstacles will be mellowed down, like the treadmills will be slower etc. The boss fight (As far as K1) is short and straightforward. You have the hit K1 3 times...and if you get hit once you have to restart the boss fight all over again. 2/5 it sucks ball
I played through -KLAUS- until somewhere near the end of the game that I wanna quit. I got fed up with the clunky controls on the keyboard and the physics are hard to work with. I like the aesthetic of the game and the story is simple. Im gonna play it again once I bought a controller in the future. Maybe its more fun with a controller.

Came here through the Graeldon's review on Youtube. It's an enjoyable platformer albeit the controls feel slightly unrefined in some situations. It can cause some deaths, but it's not extremely annoying. The story is interesting, and does courage you to find all the 'secret levels', and the gameplay has interesting changes in the secrets and in the regular levels to keep things fresh. The puzzles do not require too much thinking, but do sometimes require a bit of thinking to get the order of operations right. The only real critique I have is for the boss fight, as it feels the most unrefined: it's easy to get yourself soft-locked by going to the wrong direction and dying, as it sets up a checkpoint from which you can't get to both terminals anymore (you should go left first). In addition, if you are below the hands when they drop, they will get stuck floating on the air and you are unable to move them - and as you are able to go to each terminal only once, this will also soft-lock you as you are unable to give the two required hits. Regardless, I suggest you give it a try if you want a story-driven platformer with puzzle elements and refreshingly changing gameplay mechanics.
