I think there is a central core idea here that was packaged nicely, but is otherwise let down by every decision. It's greatest sin is that this game has absolutely no respect for your time as you are pulled back and forth across the map, either at a slow "gallop," or a snail's pace when your horse's stamina quickly bottoms out. Lucky you even have a horse as your subjects sometimes take over a full in-game day to reach their desired positions, only to then try to do the job they were assigned at night and get annhilated. The AI of subjects is also so poor that they will sometimes brush up against the enemy attacking a wall during their idle period and get taken out. Sometimes they will idle outside at night and get hit by your own catapult aiming at the coming horde and get taken out. Well, sometimes you're lucky to have any subjects at all as the only way to increase your population is to recruit they at vagrant camps, which if they spawn too close to the edges of the map means that the day and half it takes for them to walk to your kingdom means they will never make it. If you try to clear forests to expand your kingdom, your workers will lesiurely stroll back, occasionally stopping for a scripted animation of wiping the sweat from their brow. Every single aspect of this game is so slow ....except for your enemies, which move very fast at all times. There are other points I could talk about, but a lot of it loops back into just how slow everything feels. You don't have a lot of meaningful decisions to make. If one of your positions falls there's no reacting, you have no options, you just have to wait it out and try to slowly rebuild the next day. If you need more manpower, well, gallop across the map to recruit two (max spawn) vagrants, wait for them to make their journey to the center of your town to pick up hammers or bows, and then wait for them to find a position to go to. You don't make that decision, by the way. Other than worker instructions which they prioritize in ways I do not fully understand, all subjects kind of vibe their way to whatever forward position they feel like. The game has a commitment to minimalsim that seemed pretty cool on the surface, but ended up frustrating in practice. You can't tell subjects to change job class after they've been assigned, you can't cancel projects that you expected to finish before nightfall but the workers never showed up, and you can't decomission a guard tower that is stealing three archers even though you have expanded your forward operations... You can't even really choose where to build as it has to be on randomly spawned in node for that project type (which is a real shame because the best outer wall setup has the guard tower just outside the wall itself, so the archers can actually hit something without being blocked). And once you have invested your coins you are locked in. Running side to side and throwing money on the ground is all you can do. There are some twists. If you can destroy a portal then you can build a teleporter. As you progress there are <temporary> buff shrines (have fun riding across the map to reactivate an archer shrine during a blood moon). If you are really lucky there is a grass area you can expand into without having to clear everything out. It all just takes so damn long and you are doing the same things over and over. "Let me build a new advanced position, oh I guess I need more money so lets go all the way over there to get money from my farms, ok now lets go all the way bac- oh the position crumbled because night fell already." Also, don't even get me started on how slow the boat is, which needs to be pushed across the map by a team of workers. Anyway, I've rambled long enough. I like the art a lot and the framework is there for a better game, but this just isn't it.

玩的不久但是如同喝了豆汁一样恶心,首先游戏指引极差可以说几乎没有,在游戏中遇到的特殊建筑不知道有什么作用,有一部分好歹还能看出来是什么意思比如各种雕像,但是大部分建筑是不知道实际效果的,只能花了钱才知道这是干啥的,花了钱也不一定知道。其次蠢到离谱的ai,玩一玩就知道是什么水平的,堪比部落冲突的战斗寻路。极差的游戏内指引,在不查如何攻略的情况下基本上不可能到五岛,还有游戏内白天时间非常短,基本上晚上一结束要探图就要立刻出发,否则晚上刷怪前就回不来。在这样一个本质游戏节奏快但是又缺少提速的模式里游戏注定是小众变态游戏
