Overall I give this game a 9/10. The gameplay and some mechanics can get in the way of the experience I felt at times but the expansiveness of the gameplay is what makes up for it. The cutscenes are beautiful, the worlds are beautifully rendered to compliment the DIsney properties they represent. The story was very complex as it tends to be in this series, but it also at times took a backseat to sudden tonal shifts, added loose ends in addition to ones that were to be tied up in this game, and a big plot device that never came into play until the very end of the story and the DLC. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and made even better thanks to the modding and fan communities that continue to push this game forward further than what was intended. Kingdom Hearts III was a culmination of several things. Back in 2009 director Tetsuya Nomura gave brief mentions of it when interviewed about Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days and the future of the series. Fans were excited for a sequel to one of the most beloved games that was Kingdom Hearts II (2006). What we got in KH3 was a game that was promising to tie up lose ends starting with the mysteries of Kingdom Hears II, then continuing in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, 358/2 Days, Re:coded and Dream Drop Distance. All these five previous games added new and familiar characters and introduced concepts that were not explored in the last numbered entry. Then the Disney worlds added were very specifically tailored to the game's Unreal Engine graphics, making this game's development take a lot longer from when it was announced. In that time a phone game called Kingdom Hearts Unchained X then renamed Union Cross(X) gave us more lore and backstory relevant to Kingdom Hearts III and beyond. So KH3 had a lot riding on it being successful which I personally feel it was. It continued "Sora's" story, it felt like an epic crossover of all the games in the series and then it left fans with a very complex ending that divided some fans. The future of Kingdom Hearts may be unknown but what is known is that it is coming and one day we'll see Sora again.

such a good kingdom hearts game and i hate that its trash on so much. its not as good as the other games but its still peak and does alot of things better than the older games.

以前在PS上玩過，現在單純是買回來回味的。我很喜歡這遊戲，PS版是全成就(含隱藏DLC全成就)。 我很難想像這遊戲的鍵盤滑鼠控制器能做得如此差勁。 在視窗化的時候，滑鼠非常容易移出遊戲內，體驗糟糕至極。因為我的手有傷，搖桿並不能使用太久，所以轉來使用PC，沒想到的是滑鼠鍵盤默認配置也侷限在搖桿思維根本沒有一點調整，一堆按鍵混在一起也非常不直覺......這倒是讓人滿吃驚的。
Love it! The characters are cute, although the dark dark very annoying, but see the friendship as the center of everything will work out!

Great game with a ton of collectibles that are fun to gather for the most part. The Re:mind DLC is the only real letdown, as it is mostly a repeat of the hours-long ending. It absolutely should have just replaced the original ending instead of being tacked on. However, it does offer quite a challenge for players who are looking for that.
Honestly the worst Kingdom Hearts game in my opinion. Every boss is one in the same memorize the moves and block and spam attack. Almost every boss in the other games required some form of magic to use against a move, get through their defense, or just overall weak to a certain spell. This game has none of that aside from maybe 3-5 bosses in the whole game being able to be countered with a spell. It makes your spells aside from Curaga to be written useless. I find myself using summons far more than I do any spell outside of the beginning of the game. I mean it whole heartedly that out of every KH game to achievement hunt this one is not fun in any way. I mean it when I say I haven't felt any bit of joy from this game as I did any other, to a point I'd put Re:Coded above KH3
