Still surprisingly relevant in 2024 and likely beyond. It's a little rough around the edges and perhaps not fully fleshed out but it'll make you think and it might even make you crack a smile.
The way the game distances you from both the people you knew and the world you ran away from... That is brilliant.
I heard of this game on Extra Credits' Games You Might Not Have Tried list and thought it looked interesting. Several years later I finally got it on sale for a few dollars. This game is pretty cool and I finished it in an afternoon. The core concept of travelling at FTL speeds and having a year pass every time you refresh your feed is really cool. There is only one track for the game but it does sound nice and the game is short enough that it doesn't get too irritating. The political and speculative fiction elements were cool but not super fleshed out. That's actually the only real criticism of the game I have. The characters and overall concept feel like there was more potential. This game was done for a game jam initially so that makes sense, but I do hope that the developer comes back to the idea. Overall this a decent experience but I don't think this is worth $10 so you should buy on sale.

Boring book simulator. Cool idea and concept. I was intrigued the first couple jumps but it got old quick. Worth it I guess if you got it for a buck like I did. Not a fan of a game that doesn't let you save, even if It's short. Meh.
A cool little game about watching a world you leave behind pass by on social media
Neat idea, bad execution. would not reccomend.
Premise sounded cool, but the execution felt rough around the edges and it didn't make a whole lot of sense. Felt like a waste of time, but so is browsing social media, so I guess that makes sense?
Interesting "interactive book" about time perspective and human relationships in the future. Once time starts to fly faster you can feel getting more disassosiated and lonely. Nothing super ground-breaking, but it was a fun experience.
https://youtu.be/n3nJmxQujG0 Either ahead of it's time or aged poorly the themes and expression of this concept struggles to land as strong only a few years after release.
A short, but poignant narrative experience, told through snippets of a future social media wall. For its simplicity, narrative, and atmosphere, I highly recommend it.
