Honestly a downgrade from 2. They added a home/deploy area that is just a pain for people to start with. Maybe it would make some sense after a dozen hours or so, but its just too much and just why? 2 had added a lot of a fantasy guns. Personally I wasn't a huge fan, but we have have gone completely into fantasy with 3's loadout. I Still have not figured out how to buy new guns. In game you can buy around 3 in the shop like previous titles, but it looks like 12. However they are just the same 3 guns with extra mods. I would assume you can buy more in the home/deploy area, but I still cant find were that is. The game did not draw me in like 2, so I can't be asked to figure it out. The game just feels 'cartoony' to me. That's the best way I can think to describe it. Controls feel clunky and movement feels slow. Firebug has no accurate options so headshots are just out the window for that class. Sure it's meant to be an area denial class, but taking away the headshots for the class really kills the ability to handle med and large zeds. Levels have missions now with objectives rather than just pure wave survival. You also collect currency/crafting items around the map as well. Again, why? I'm sure it has something to do with crafting new weapons or something similar, but doing this encourages teams to split up and try to find these items for future games rather than focusing on winning the one they are in. The grind in the first 2 was to learn your class, learn the enemies and unlock perks. On the positive side the maps are a lot bigger and with climbing added they are a lot more vertical. However with movement feeling sluggish I personally don't feel it's adding that much to the game. If you're a fan of the first 2 games I'd say pass on this one. If you're new to the franchise maybe give it a shot if you think its your thing. Real bummer IMO because I was looking forward to this game for so long. However you will find me in KF2.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Just recently started playing this game and I don't understand the hate. I've played lots of KF2 and this game is so much more fun and polished.
Very fun game enjoying it more than kf2 so far please add my boy the demolitionist
Garbage. Still as bad as people described it around release. Also love how you can't turn off AA or use one that doesn't suck.
very disappointed.
Killing Floor 3 feels like playing Dying Light 2. Is it a bad game? Not really. Then, why the negative review? Because it's suprisingly and unnecessarily worse than the previous one. For starters, they reduced the number of perks (from 10 to 6) and reduced the number of weapons, a really surprising decision, considering that every class felt different from the previous one (except probably SWAT, who was just fun to play anyways, and survivalist, who was a mix of the other classes). They also replaced the weapon upgrade system, which used to be mid-run, now it's meta-progression related (not necessarily a bad thing, you just need to play more). One of the worst downgrades in my opinion is that shooting doesn't feel as good as in KF2. One of my favorite parts of the previous game is how satisfying was to shoot, even when not aiming. Here it just doesn't feel as right, especially when enemies are too close. For whatever reason, it feels like normal enemies are too big, and they get too close to you (somehow, the only ones that feel normal size are fleshpounds and Scrakes). No matter the Field of View you use, they feel too close and shooting them feels like your bullets pass through them, which never happened in KF2. They probably focused all of their attention in the engine and graphics "upgrade", going for Unreal Engine 5, but it just makes the game's performance worse and it doesn't really look that good. In my opinion, it looks too dark and grey and it's honestly hard to see (even with flashlight on), making my eyes hurt if I play it more than 1 hour in a row (I push them too hard to try to see better). Not all is bad though, they added new class-related mechanics, an ultimate skill and an utility tool, which are honestly fun to use. With that being said. Probably one of the worst aspects of the game if you are considering to buy this game is the lack of people playing the game currently. While you can easily find around 4k-5k playing KF2, you can barely find around 200-300 playing this one. Making finding people to play with really hard unless you have friends to play with. So far I have almost 13 hours in the game, always playing with matchmaking on, and I have only found 1 player... Worst part is that, for whatever reason, they removed the server browser that was available in the previous game, where you could see what maps, what regions, what mode and what difficulties were people playing. Now you just select, click on play and hope that someone else is searching also. Oh, also, servers are terrible, which makes it worse, considering they added a new dash mechanic, with a lot of enemies having some type of charge attack that you are meant to dodge with almost perfect good timing... Well, if you play online not only you won't find anyone else to play with, but you will have to deal with the terrible lags and you getting damage when you see yourself avoiding everything. I don't even know how they messed that up, considering in KF2 I could go Berserker in other regions with no problem, here I can't even perform a dash in my own region without lagging. So, why am I still playing KF3 instead of going back for 2? Because this one is around 20 gb to install, while KF2 is around 96gb... and I don't want to use that much space with something I just play every now and then. As a summary, it just feels like a downgrade from the previous game, with a few extra mechanics that were added (some of them being good), but I can't recommend because performance is terrible and it's really hard to find more people currently playing for co-op matches (which is kinda the point of the game).
No gasten guita alpedo, no le llega ni a los talones al KF2, se siente extremadamente generico. y en momentos parece que estas jugando al payday en su peor momento. la busquedas de servidores horrendas al igual que la manera de usar el audio voice
