Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Good graphics. Simple, but engaging storyline. Puzzles are pretty easy but fun in general. I enjoyed the collectable aspect to the game in regards to finding all hats, rot, charms and certain locations. Once again, not too challenging but fun to complete. Bosses for me were challenging but for more experienced gamers quite easy. Overall a well balanced game that was a joy to play with just the right amount of difficulty if that's what you are going for.

I had been anticipating this game for a while, and it did not disappoint! I cannot describe how beautiful and unique this game, nay, experience is. The visuals are just glorious for a start, the characters are adorable, the storyline is meaningful and the expansion of the world as you play is effortless. I love that the storyline is deep, and sure sad, but that the game is uplifting all of the time (I think the rot play their part in this). The game has the lovely combo of story, action and hidden treasures - and it's not overly violent which I appreciate. The details of how they have woven together the key "villains" is inspired. The fact that the female characters take the lead and the male characters are wise and/or emotional isn't lost on me - but I like that it's not in an overt way either. I just want more and more of this beautiful tale, I'm very attached to all the characters - especially the rot! I'm elated to hear there's a next game to come out, and will wait for it with bated breath!!
