Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 10 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

fast paced, super fun shmup built entirely around scoring. the way you can take more and more risks for higher score feels incredibly smooth, an almost perfect gradient from something any beginner could do to the unfathomable 1.6b scores only attainable to shmup gods. more than worth the price.
I happily paid for this game since I played the original Kaikan well over 20+ hours. I love the original freeware version very much so I was taken off guard when I heard the new music. However, I have grown to really like the new music. This version provided the ability to change the resolution to more modern ones. Slight scoring tweaks but Kaikan retains everything that makes this game great. Highly recommended !!!

It's good for the price. It leans a bit on the easy side until the last stage and it's short, but it has six ships. I am interested in seeing the dev's other games.
this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome
Great Shmup, recommended!
Metal!
Really good, awesome music and gameplay. Nice and short as well. I like the BGM customization too. Last stage does not ♥♥♥♥ around.
Amei! Excelente custo-benefício.
Zakichi's first release on steam is a frantic thrill ride that will always leave you darting around to dodge enemy fire while trying to get as many points as possible. KAIKAN is a game that expects that you live and breathe for score and to be on the offensive as much as you can. But having to stop shooting so you can auto collect the score items is an interesting curve ball. Since you get penalized for letting even a single one fall below the screen, it becomes necessary to fall into a rhythm of firing, pausing, then firing, over and over again. Even though you could choose to not play for score, you'd only be hindering yourself for not trying in the long run. The power of your bomb depends on your item rank and collecting items fuels progress toward your next bomb, which you can only have one of. Hanging around the bottom of the screen? Well that'll just make it more likely to get penalized. Waiting awhile to use your bomb? Well if you get hit, you lose it and using your bomb means you can get your next one that much sooner. KAIKAN is such a treat. The metal music is a perfect for the feel of the game and the visuals have gotten a nice boost compared to the older version. An option to use the music from the free version would have been a nice extra though. I like all the shot types, though Type F is pretty tricky. Probably on the intimidating side for a beginner but it's still lots of fun.
Awesome shoot 'em up with an excellent heavy metal soundtrack. All of the ships and their weapons are super cool and you definitely feel very powerful straight out the gate! You fire in short bursts to collect medals, and with good timing you can keep your rank high and rake in the points. Tons of fun enemies to destroy, lots of creative bullet patterns. The stages are all well designed and fun to play and while I haven't seen the TLB yet, the bosses I have fought felt tough but fair. You can play the original release for free, but this game rocks and the developer is worth supporting!
