Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 23 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

The intensity of this game cured my baldness
So anyway, I started Blastin'. I was already a fan of the mobile version, and the Steam release is even better. The pixel art and music capture the retro shmup aesthetic, and the various modes include something for everyone. Highly recommended if you enjoy big bombs and satisfyin' 'splosions. Well worth the price!
Blast Rush LS, developed by Bipedal Dog and published by indie.io, takes the familiar framework of a bullet hell shooter and flips one of its most defining rules on its head. Instead of treating bombs as rare, high-stakes resources, the game builds its entire identity around giving players constant access to them. This single design decision dramatically alters how the game feels from the moment you start playing, shifting the experience away from cautious survival and toward aggressive, explosive control of the screen. At a glance, the structure is instantly recognizable. You pilot a small ship through waves of enemies, weaving through dense patterns of projectiles while firing back. But unlike traditional shooters where careful positioning and restraint are key, Blast Rush LS encourages a more assertive playstyle. Bombs are not just a backup plan—they are the main tool. Clearing large sections of the screen, interrupting enemy formations, and maintaining momentum all revolve around using these abilities effectively. This creates a rhythm that feels faster and more forgiving, especially for players who might find the genre intimidating. The level design complements this approach by constantly throwing large, tightly packed enemy waves at the player. Under normal circumstances, these patterns would feel overwhelming, but the game is clearly built with its core mechanic in mind. Success comes from understanding when to detonate a bomb to regain control of the screen and when to rely on movement and positioning to navigate smaller threats. There’s a layer of decision-making here that goes beyond simple reflexes, even if it doesn’t reach the complexity of more traditional bullet hell titles. To keep things varied, the game introduces multiple ships and bomb types, each offering slightly different ways to approach combat. Some emphasize wide-area clearing, while others reward more precise timing or directional use. Additional mechanics, such as special abilities that slow down time or enhance maneuverability, add subtle variations to the gameplay loop. There are also extra modes beyond the main stages, including endurance-style challenges and score-focused runs, which provide opportunities to test mastery and extend the experience beyond a straightforward playthrough. Visually, Blast Rush LS adopts a retro-inspired pixel art style that prioritizes clarity. The screen can become chaotic with enemies and projectiles, but the clean presentation ensures that players can still read what’s happening. Bright effects and distinct enemy patterns help maintain visibility, while the soundtrack—driven by energetic, chiptune-style tracks—keeps the pace lively without overwhelming the action. It’s a presentation that fits the genre well, even if it doesn’t aim to push visual boundaries. However, the game’s defining mechanic is also where its limitations begin to show. While the constant use of bombs is exciting at first, the lack of significant evolution in how this mechanic is used can lead to repetition. Once players become comfortable with the system, many encounters begin to feel similar, with the same strategies applying across different stages. The game doesn’t always introduce new ideas or twists that force players to rethink their approach, which can reduce the sense of progression over time. Replayability largely depends on how much you enjoy refining your performance. For players who enjoy chasing high scores, optimizing runs, or mastering specific loadouts, there is enough here to justify repeated playthroughs. For others, the experience may feel more limited once the main content has been explored. Without a deeper progression system or more varied mechanics, the game relies heavily on its core loop to carry long-term engagement. In the end, Blast Rush LS is a creative and approachable take on the bullet hell genre that succeeds in making its gameplay feel immediately engaging and accessible. Its emphasis on constant action and explosive mechanics gives it a distinct personality, even if it doesn’t fully develop that idea into something more complex. It’s a game that shines in short, intense sessions and offers a fresh perspective on familiar mechanics, even if it stops short of reaching the depth of the genre’s best examples. Rating: 7/10

Excellent update to the classic. Love the added challenges and behind the scenes notes. Crystal Heron 4 Ever!
An innovative new take on the shoot-em-up/ bullet hell genre where the enemies themselves are the bullets and the player must be strategic about how they use their unlimited bombs. The new UI and bonus material is reminiscent of Digital Eclipse retrospective collections. This is much more than an updated version of the mobile game - it's a whole new game
A pretty neat idea! can be unforgiving at times but the extras help make it feel fuller
I am hooked on Flash Rush. It almost turns the game back into a regular shmup, but it's a blast.
Never had such a rush. Except when I played the original, but this is better in every way. WHAT A RUSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I am, what some might call, a 'filthy casual' when it comes to vertical shmups, or bullet hell games, but I do really love trying to play them. Blast Rush LS is a nice update to the Classic Blast rush! I really enjoy the new modes (especially Flash Mode!) The updates to Standard mode are nice as well, I love being able to select how the bombs land for each different fighter. Blow it up!
Infinite bombs? Count me in!
