Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1/day in the week to Aug 4 → 1.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Your world...Your rules! In Just Cause, you are a Latin field operative and specialist in regime change backed by top secret US government agency who will overthrow the corrupt government of San Esperito. It could be to your advantage that the tropical paradise is about to implode as various factions vie for power - it just needs a gentle nudge in the right direction.
Just Cause offers the freedom to tackle your assignments however you want: playing the island's factions against one another, inciting a rebellion among the masses and building alliances with rebel forces and drug cartels. The action takes place in an incredibly detailed game world which consists of over 250,000 acres of mountains, jungles, beaches, cities and villages. The island can be explored by land, sea and air, as you will have at your disposal one of the most varied and exciting array of vehicles ever seen in a video game.
Freeform game-play: approach missions in any way you like, or break off from the fight and enjoy exploring the islands.
Over 250K acres of land to explore: the largest environment ever seen in a game!

Massive selection of vehicles: over 100 of the most varied, exciting array of land, sea and air vehicles ever seen in a video game.
Avalanche Engine™: procedurally generated landscape delivers a huge, beautiful, detailed world while eliminating loading times.
Wealth of missions: story missions, side-missions, bonus missions and many more; ensuring plenty of action spread throughout the islands.
Support team: Sheldon and Kane, two US government secret agents, will provide you with reconnaissance info, extraction and vehicle drops.
Fly: The best way to explore San Esperito is by air!
Sums Steam only; Xbox, GOG publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

a good start to a great franchise
this game single handedly cured my depression
I didn't finish the game, but I remember playing it on my PlayStation a long time ago. Back then, the graphics and gameplay were fantastic. It's a very good game, even if it doesn't offer the features or graphics we expect today. Overall, it's a must-have experience and a must-have memory if you love old games.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I remember playing through this game on the 360 back when it came out. I liked it. Just tried to play through it again and this has NOT aged well.
In 2010, I played Just Cause on the PlayStation 2. Playing this game now brings back memories of my childhood. Nostalgia 🥹
Good ol' Classic <3
The game is oki as an old game. Enjoyed it . But the last 3 missions are BS :)
худшая часть в серии настолько скучная душная, физики вообще нет ♥♥♥ там плавал шибла тебя машина ты труп . если хотите познакомится с серией то обойдите эту игру стороной начните со 2 которая намного интересней этой ♥♥♥♥♥
Nostalgia hits absolutely different. I’ve played Just Cause 1 so many times over the years, but I finally decided to actually buy it on Steam just to relive the old days. Honestly? The game is still a blast. The story is just decent, but the absolute chaos of the gameplay is where it's at. There is nothing like jumping from one moving vehicle to another, skydiving, and pulling off ridiculous stunts. It's just pure, classic action. The only real issue is playing it on a modern, high-end PC. The game loses its mind a bit. On some missions, the tanks literally glitch out, get stuck, and start floating or flying into the air like crazy. It completely ruins the vibe when the physics go funny on a strong rig. If you have an old retro PC lying around, that’s definitely the way to play it. They really should update this for modern computers because people still love playing these classics just to hit those old memories. Overall: 6/10 Worth it for a trip down memory lane, just be ready for some old-school jank!
Horrible game. Last mission is impossile to beat. Don't bother
