Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Game is broken. Too old... Devs modified it and deleted first puzzle for some reason? You have to follow the guide otherwise you go through the door and get softlocked from doing things in a wrong order. Mouse can't click on border of your screen therefore you can't go further than the city gates. Devs probably don't have the files to repair this old clunky game so don't even try later. You'd better try finding a working CD, a working 2000's computer and a slick CRT screen. Would probably not be worth paying that much for this point and click but you do you gamers.

Достаточно стандартный point'n'click квест с динозаврами, рекомендовать к сожалению не готов
Generally, the game is fun and has nice visual scenes. It works fine on Windows 11. But I can't recommend it as many hotspots for interacting with objects or changing scene are very hard to spot and hit, this makes the game very frustrating.
Moje první hra, kterou jsem dostala od rodičů jako malá. Pro mě je to nostalgie dětství. Doporučuji jako super oddechovku.
A decent classic point & click adventure game
while i was mostly looking for old point and click games, i don't think this one is very good, controlling the character is just slow and much of the ineractable are so small that you do need to do a full sweep each time you pass an area if you do miss an item you might have to run across the world to get it, i managed to miss the one sand spot on the beach, and there is another item which would require and even longer trip some of the pathways are simply not visible due to the specific camera angle combined with needing to press fairly specific spots to move to the next screen, and with with no keyboard controls you will have to line things up just right so i wouldn't really recommend getting it, and it seems to be a cut down version of the original game anyway
Journey to the Center of the Earth is a classic point-and-click adventure developed and published by Frogwares that draws inspiration from Jules Verne’s iconic novel while crafting its own original narrative set in a fantastical subterranean world. Originally released in the early 2000s and later brought to modern platforms, the game follows Ariane, a determined photojournalist who finds herself trapped beneath the Earth’s surface after a sudden accident near a volcanic site. What begins as a routine assignment quickly transforms into an expansive adventure through an underground civilization filled with strange ecosystems, forgotten cities, and unusual inhabitants. The game embraces traditional adventure design, placing exploration and puzzle-solving at the forefront of the experience. Players guide Ariane through a series of richly designed environments, interacting with objects, collecting items, and engaging in dialogue with the inhabitants of this hidden world. Progression is driven by logic puzzles that require careful observation and creative use of inventory items. Some challenges reward thoughtful deduction and environmental awareness, while others lean into classic adventure-game trial and error. The overall structure remains faithful to the genre’s roots, demanding patience and attention rather than reflex-based skill. One of the game’s strongest elements is its world-building. The underground setting is imaginative and varied, featuring prehistoric landscapes, lush caverns, technologically advanced settlements, and remnants of lost civilizations. This diversity keeps the journey visually engaging and reinforces the sense of wonder associated with exploring an unknown realm. The narrative unfolds gradually as Ariane uncovers the secrets of this subterranean society, learning about its culture, conflicts, and history. While the writing occasionally shows its age in dialogue delivery and pacing, the overarching premise retains an adventurous charm that captures the spirit of classic exploration tales. Visually, Journey to the Center of the Earth reflects the technological standards of its time. Pre-rendered backgrounds and early 3D character models create environments that were ambitious for the era but now carry a nostalgic quality. The art direction emphasizes atmosphere over realism, using lighting and environmental detail to convey mystery and scale. Character animations and interface elements can feel stiff by modern standards, yet they remain functional. Players accustomed to contemporary adventure titles may find the controls slightly cumbersome, but veterans of early 2000s point-and-click games will likely adapt quickly. Puzzle design is central to the overall experience. Many obstacles require combining items in unexpected ways or interpreting clues hidden within dialogue and environmental details. While some puzzles are intuitive and satisfying, others can feel obscure, reflecting design philosophies common in older adventure games. This unevenness contributes both to moments of accomplishment and occasional frustration. However, the gradual uncovering of new areas and narrative developments provides steady motivation to continue pushing forward. The pacing of the adventure is deliberate and measured. Rather than offering constant dramatic twists, the game focuses on steady progression through increasingly intriguing locales. Conversations with non-playable characters add context to the underground civilization and occasionally introduce moral or political undertones to the narrative. Although the storyline does not delve deeply into complex character arcs, it maintains enough intrigue to sustain interest throughout the journey. Ultimately, Journey to the Center of the Earth stands as an ambitious early work in Frogwares’ catalog, showcasing the studio’s dedication to narrative-driven adventure design. While it bears the hallmarks of its era in both interface and puzzle structure, it compensates with imaginative environments and a strong sense of exploration. For players who appreciate classic point-and-click adventures and literary-inspired storytelling, it offers a substantial and atmospheric expedition into a hidden world beneath the surface. Those willing to embrace its retro sensibilities will find a thoughtful, curiosity-driven adventure that captures the enduring allure of subterranean discovery. Rating: 5/10
