Definitely an improvement compared to the first game. It's more polished, clean, has better bosses and overall has better level design. If you like the first game than you'll probably like this one a little more. I still would only recommend it at a discount like how I got it (90% discount).

Super Meat Boy for those that really, really hate themselves.

Short game, but very decent. Not a lot of bad to say about it. It's quick and snappy, and good controls. Decent music too. I'd recommend. Better than the first one. Maybe they should have thought of throwing gems in it like the first game just to prolong it a bit, but I still recommend.

The second one

not the worst, but not really good

Decent fast-paced precision platformer. My only complaints are the hit boxes that seem a bit too large in certain places, and furthermore that in some instances you have to find the way through the level by trial and error as you can't see very far ahead. I recommend getting it when it is on sale.
