Excellent Zelda-like, long, onirique, avec une identité propre — mention spéciale aux donjons et aux énigmes.

This game is so good! It is a love letter to games like Link's Awakening and Oracle of Ages/Seasons. It's got all your standard Zelda-like mechanics like a sword, dungeons, items that grant you additional progress throughout a circuitous overworld. It's even got a trading sequence, which I'm a complete sucker for. What really sets it apart though is how inventive the dungeons are. They each center on a cool idea and then develop it through tricky puzzles. Of course I can't fail to mention that the retro art is so cute, and the music is a bop! The story is so sad, too. I highly recommend it.

Did you love the Legend of Zelda games on the Gameboy and Gameboy Color? You'll love this. A delightful and challenging love letter to action-adventure puzzlers. Pretty impressive. Polished. Lots of unexpected features and details. Very happy with how this turned out.
The dungeon design is truly genius, absolutely nails the Zelda puzzle dungeon style. The world is also filled with story, lore and different characters full of personality. Really great game.
I really like the fact that everything feels more like a puzzle than a typical homage to Zelda games. In most cases in the second dungeon, the sword is the least-useful way to beat a room full of enemies once you find the dungeon item, and I like that it gives me a good reason to un-equip the sword (unlike the old Oracle games on the GameBoy Color). It's also great that you always have access to jumping, so you don't have to worry about wasting an equipment slot in order to do so. Similarly, always having access to the ability to duplicate environment items for puzzle-solving really makes it easier to experiment and figure out a solution more quickly. The art direction and characters also seem interesting, and I'm intrigued by the implied quests linked to each new NPC that you find. The overall story also seems interesting, and your character has more of a reason to go on the adventure than "I'm a hero." It's also interesting seeing how each NPC reacts differently to learning what awaited them on their pilgrimage, as it is more realistic that not everyone would believe you depending on who they are and the circumstances you find them in. I do like the overworld being wide open and interlinked, as it plays into the puzzle aspect of things. About the only complaint related to it that I have, as of the time of review, is an issue with using my Steam overlay on this game, meaning I can't spam screenshots to compile a map like I normally would for puzzle games. As I'm both on Linux and using a Horipad controller with a built-in Steam Button, my attempts to figure that out is still on-going. Considering I've been putting off other puzzles games due to not wanting to compile physical notes, I may as well grow as a person and start doing so with this game so I can start tackling those games as well. All-in-all, I'm enjoying my time so far and look forward to seeing what comes next.
Disclaimer: I was a kickstarter backer for this game. I'm a big ban of Zelda games, and naturally was interested in this one. I'm one dungeon in, and so far the game feels very polished:

The first dungeon is well-designed. Mazelike, not repetitive, and interesting.
Puzzle elements, including the ability to copy things you see, are put to good use.
There's several items, all of which feel interesting and useful.
The difficulty level feels on-par with Link's Awakening. Not too easy or too hard. Half the enemies WILL damage you if you're too hasty, and the other half are no-brainers. The game is generous with its health pickups.
The first boss felt unique and made use of multiple items you've found so far.
Other pros:

You can save+quit at any time, or save at certain statues, and there are autosaves.
You can equip any item to any of your 3 item slots. RB is for jumping and LB is for the copy-paste ability.
Hitboxes are forgiving. Damage taken never felt unfair. Even if you fall into deep water, you have a brief splashing animation during which you can step back out before dying.
You can rebind all actions for both controller and keyboard.
Issues:

I do wish the process of quitting the game and getting back into it didn't require waiting through so many menus. Save and return to the title, wait for the autosave warning again, then get to the menu and THEN you can quit.
I did not experience any bugs so far, except for one where the lava appeared completely monocolor in one room when I revisited an earlier area, but fortunately only one room was affected.
If you're a fan of 2D Zelda games, especially Link's Awakening or the Oracle games, you will feel right at home with this one. All in all an impressive Zeldalike so far!
If any one enjoys old school action rpgs like Zelda especially Links Awakening then this game is a no brainer. It It well designed and has charm and will engage you with its world and puzzles. If you like 8 bit visuals and audio then you will be at home here as it mimics Gameboy Color. The game looks nice and has some good tunes. I have not had any major control issues. Some jumps may take a few tries. And some reviews mentioned how the overworld is claustrophpbic in its design. While playing you can see its more compact in design. It does not ruin the game,it just means the screen space was designed diffrently than Zelda and Mina. So in closing the game is an easy recommend for fans of the genre.
If you like Zelda, puzzle games, or just want a great experience this is a must buy. Every time I have to stop playing, I instantly want to be done with stupid adulting and play more. This is easily one of the best if not the best Zelda clone ever made!!!
