Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.

It's quite an odd thing. It's basically The Witness, but as an MMO, that then stopped being an MMO. So you have this big beautiful open world with puzzles scattered about, but you also earn XP for solving them and can spend it on upgrades and cosmetics. And there are quests but they don't really matter, and a lot of the puzzles are randomly picked so you'll find different ones if you revisit the same area. This helps keep backtracking interesting because you don't run out of things to do on the way. I'm curious what this would have developed into if the MMO aspect hadn't failed, but what's here is still a lot of fun. I'm currently just starting the third zone, and there's been a lot of variety in the "logic grids" as they call them, with different mechanics progressively unlocked. And several types of other things to do, which also keep expanding. I'm not a fan of all of these - the fractal circle things in particular I've been avoiding - but there's just so much to do, and most of it is fun. Moving around the environment searching for hidden secrets is fun. I've really enjoyed just wandering around and getting distracted by all the puzzles dotted around. It's very easy to lose a couple of hours! The storyline so far, for what it is, hasn't grabbed me. You come across orbs which speak vaguely in a way that doesn't resonate with me. But that doesn't really matter. I'm just here for prettiness and puzzles. I've just reached the point where "mysteries" start unlocking, which are riddles instructing you to go to a certain point on the map and do something specific. And I just appreciate that it's another interesting challenge thrown into the mix. So yes, I'd recommend it! I did get it at 75% off but with the amount that's here, full price is pretty reasonable. I just like a bargain. And despite what the store page currently says, this runs fine for me on Linux. (It's worth trying out the demo first though. Your progress carries over.)

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 31: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Islands of Insight is a gem for puzzle lovers. It offers complete freedom in a stunning, peaceful open world packed with hundreds of varied challenges. Progression feels rewarding and constant. There are no time limits or stressful combat, you explore at your own pace, guided by a soothing soundtrack. It's the perfect game to unwind while giving your brain a workout. The only downside is the lack of Steam achievements which is a shame for completionists looking to track their progress.
This is up there with the talos principle when it comes to my favorite puzzle games. Theres a good variety of puzzles and the map is loaded with things to explore. If they didnt abandon the game and kept introducing new puzzle types this could've been the GOAT. I'm still not even halfway through the map and I'm not bored or annoyed by any means. If any puzzle is pissing you off just go do something else and come back later. Unless its a main story objective you dont even have to go back at all. The puzzles aren't super challenging for the most part but I'm not even halfway through the game yet. I've had 2 or 3 advanced pattern puzzles stump me so far out of 1000+ i've completed so difficulty isnt really a big issue. It's also quite immersive with a good looking world and I've only experienced one bug where I got stuck over 32 hours. Overall, I definitely recommend this if like you open world exploration and puzzle games
sudoku feel-like puzzles, simple yet entertaining also why this was MMO is beyond me, but now its good playground
Great puzzles - mostly casual. Some unique and some classics. Still there is much room to improve your skills with this game and many secrets to uncover.
very interactive. enjoy the free roam approach to search for different types of puzzles.
