About

The world is dead. The state has collapsed. In a forgotten Eastern Bloc town, you are alone but not truly alone. Something stirs beyond the walls, and none of it means you well. You have only one reason to keep going: survive long enough to find your wife, Valeria. But in the cold and darkness of this unforgiving night, will you ever make it back to her?

In the hellish streets of this Eastern Bloc town, every bullet matters. There are ways to fight back, but survival demands more than firepower. Use the weapons at your disposal to clear a path, scavenge tools to overcome the obstacles ahead, and avoid unnecessary confrontations whenever you can.

Iron Blight aims to deliver an immersive gameplay experience built around atmosphere, vulnerability, and the crushing weight of isolation. Every bullet matters, and the sound of gunfire may draw even more horrors to your position. Even something as simple as opening a locked door demands thought. You must manage your food and medical supplies, move cautiously through the streets, and always consider what might be waiting around the next corner.
True Survival Horror Gameplay: Navigate desolate streets and claustrophobic interiors, where danger lurks around every corner. Solve puzzles and face the terrors that will force a choice: fight, flee, or die.
Resource Scarcity and Tension: Resources are scarce. Do you risk using your last bullet to take down a monster, or do you save it for a more critical moment and hope to slip past unnoticed?
Diegetic Grid-Based Inventory: Every single item matters, and space is a luxury you can't afford. Carefully manage your limited inventory grid, making agonizing choices about what to carry and what to leave behind.
No HUD, No Distractions: No health bars, no ammo counters, no intrusive menus. Every piece of information is conveyed through your character and the world around you. Your only interface is your own perception.
A Unique Weapon System: Check your magazines manually, round by precious round, and reload with deliberate, step-by-step actions. Every firefight becomes a tense test of your nerves and skill.
A Bleak and Oppressive Atmosphere: Rain-slick cobblestones and flickering fluorescent lights lead you deeper into a town that feels cold, hostile, and suffocating. The distant cries of things that should not exist echo through its desolate streets.
A Return to Forgotten Horror Traditions: Fear comes from the atmosphere, the gnawing uncertainty, and the constant presence of death. The story is told through the environment itself, and combat is a slow, methodical dance where every shot matters.

Les voy a ser sinceros, yo espere este juego hace bastante y que apenas entre no tenga SOPORTE PARA JOYSTICK? ME LA BAJA UN MONTON, hasta que no tenga soporte para Joystick no lo voy a jugar
There's a lot to love about this game, and very little to hate. I'll lay out the positives and negatives. Pros: + Solid fun. + Very good sound design and atmosphere. I found the sound design making me more stressed out than the enemies most of the time. It gives you this constant feeling that you're never quite safe, even if you're sure you've cleared an area. + Guns all feel meaningful and like they serve a purpose. + Exploration is rewarded. There's often goodies like ammunition and high-grade healing supplies tucked away in places you definitely were not expected to be without willingly exploring. + Numerous modifiers and options to make your playthrough harder or easier, separate from the actual difficulty. Cons: - Game is far too short with an unsatisfying ending. Would have greatly benefitted from at least one more chapter. It only took me 10 hours to clear. - Would have been interesting to have more boss/miniboss monsters, especially towards the end. You get a new gun and a ton of ammo toward the end of the second chapter, but you don't end up actually using it to its full potential. - Very minor glitches. Specifically, I quit out and went to reload my save the next day and it treated my progress as though I hadn't gotten certain key items for progress. I thought maybe it didn't save, but going back to the area I saw the mountains of corpses and lack of ammo from where I had already looted the area, and there were no new spawned enemies. I had to go through the empty area and retrieve the key item all over again despite there being clear evidence I'd already been there. Not a game-breaking bug by any means, though. My experience was pretty bug-free otherwise and I can't count this as anything more than an extremely minor con. Summary: It's short and sweet, only taking me about 10 hours to beat, but that is its biggest flaw. I just wanted more. It's a good problem to have, though. You know your game is good if the biggest complaint a player has is that they wanted more. I wasn't thrilled with the sudden and frankly unsatisfying ending. It just kind of ends. All of that said, I still highly recommend it. It's worth the asking price, even when it isn't on sale, and survival horror fans will find it to be a good time. Final Score: 4/5

i liked it for an indie game it was scary and fun
Well worth the price of admission. There's "only" 2 levels, but they are both very meaty. Some of the best horror sound design I've ever heard in an indie game. Even when I know I've cleared an area, the ambient sounds still kept me on edge the whole time. Gunplay was fun and atmosphere was top-notch. Absolutely recommend.
juste achète ce jeux frérot, trust me
The game has potential, but I personally feel that it lacks story content and more final polishment. Visually it looks like its a game from Half Life 1 time period. This can feel very nostalgic, however this causes the game to be ALOT less "scary" than it should be. Although the sound effects are really good, making you feel on edge the whole time. Gameplay wise and technical gameplay are very creative and cool to see. Unfortunately the game is not EA or unfinished. It's a complete feature and I don't think more story content will be added to this game. A game+ mode and some gameplay modifications to replay the game will be added, for those who wants that. ( I don't...) The game has a lot of issues of being very unpolished and buggy at times. (E.g. settings menu doesn't close by itself when pressing ESC, alot of ingame Russian texts/grafitti/signs are not translated. quickly equiping tools and then cancelling can cause you to have 4 hands. Also no explaination on how certain weapons really work (its not intuitive that you should just "know", only by trying...e.g. pump shotgun by pressing SPACE for "reloading" each shot) Honestly, like I said, the game really has ALOT of potential, and it could be a gem of a game. Unfortunately the story content feels lacking. There are WAY too many tools that you need to find and use in this "short" game and then never needing to use it again. Also certain objects are just so hard to see that you might look over it, and you become stuck looking for what you have missed. I feel really mixed about this game. It's not too expensive and it really was fun until i kept getting overrun and killed because my weapons kept getting jammed or not working as it should be. It's not a bad game, just unpolished as it is now. Maybe after a few patches and possible future story dlc, it could be worth it.
no controller support, bad optimization, buggy enemies, no ragdolls and high price for a game that takes 4 hours to finish. I will refund now and buy the game again after a few major updates. But i aint recommend it for now.
Great atmosphere and tension, although rather short and simplistic
