About

While Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison earned her codename defusing bombs for the Global Defense Force, when evil transhumanist mastermind Dr. Jadus Heskel unleashes the members of his cybernetic cult onto the streets of Neo D.C., she knows it's time to start causing explosions instead of preventing them.
Her quest to slay Heskel leaves a trail of carnage throughout huge, multi-path levels filled with gigantic explosions, more secret areas than we can count, and inhuman foes behind every corner. There's no regenerating health here; stop taking cover and start running and gunning.
Shelly's crusade to take down Heskel's army will see her leave destruction in her wake with a wide arsenal of weapons, complete with alternate fire modes and different ammo types. Her signature revolver, the tri-barreled Loverboy, brings enemies pain and players pleasure with both single shots and Old West-style hammer fanning action. Who needs a regular shotgun when you can load buckshot into your grenade launcher? Violent, over-the-top Bowling Bombs rip enemies apart with ease.
Ion Fury laughs at the idea of mandatory checkpoints and straight paths through shooting galleries. But, just because this is a true old-school first-person shooter doesn't mean we've ignored all the good new stuff the last two decades have brought. Headshots? Hell yeah. More physics and interactivity? You betcha. Widescreen, controller support, and auto saves? 3D Realms and Voidpoint have taken the best of both worlds and cooked it all into a bloody stew.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Ion Fury is a fast-paced shooter inspired by old games like Doom. As a charismatic, angry cop girl, you fight hordes of monstrosities created by a mad scientist throughout very long urban stages that, in an interesting way, blend into one another, divided into six chapters and one final showdown. The simple story is told through back-and-forth dialogue between Shelly and her arch-nemesis, Dr. Hershell, with the help of environmental storytelling. The gameplay is smooth and the shooting is serviceable, though it lacks precision and reliable headshots. The gun variety is not impressive, albeit it features good pixelated animations. Enemy variety is limited for about ninety percent of the game, with new faces appearing only later. Some enemies must be fought in specific, cheesy ways to avoid losing massive amounts of health. The game’s biggest problem is the constant spawning of enemies behind you in areas you have already cleared. This is one of the most annoying design choices for a fast-paced boomer shooter, hindering your progress with new enemies you have no way of anticipating. The enemies also have simplistic ai, easily getting stuck on corners. The stages are excessively long, overstaying their welcome and sometimes being physically too large, creating constant opportunities for enemies to take cheap shots from far away, sometimes from outside your field of view or through nearly impossible bars or grates. The colorful urban environments allow enemies to blend in, making it even harder to distinguish their already small pixel frames from the pixelated scenery. In the final stage, you face a very mediocre boss that is entirely dependent on gimmick mechanics. Ion Fury is not terrible, but it is certainly a bottom-tier shooter compared to others in the genre.
Shelly is my waifu. In fact, I have my IRL waifu training to roll my explosive balls. I'll be Duke Nukem, she'll be Shelly. Just like the Emperor intended. Amazing game. Ken Silverman's Build engine has never felt so good.
its a great shooter with some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ music, but i felt like some of the levels drag on too much
Never has a publisher so clearly and explicitly shown it doesn't want LGBTQ+ people to buy its games before, so thanks for the honesty I guess. Incel publisher.
This would be a good game if they didn't put transphobic ♥♥♥♥ in it. I had no idea they did that until today
This is one of the best old school style shooters iv played its so fun. wish we had more media of this I LOVE shelly as a character she is very funny and snarky if you like old school shooters like DOOM, duke nukem, shadow warrior, and Blood BUY THIS. AMAZING STORY,CHARACTERS,AND HUMOR
