Inua was a peaceful and pleasant game that I played on my tablet via Remote Play while sitting in my backyard after being told I should go enjoy the nice weather. Playing this game felt like simply reading a book. It has a strong atmosphere and an interesting story that kept me invested throughout. I especially liked learning about the three main characters and seeing how their stories connected. My biggest issue was the ending, which felt underwhelming and incomplete. It almost feels like the story ends right before the real outcome is shown. Despite that, I still think it’s worth playing if you enjoy story-driven games.
I'm a sucker for tales of the Canadian arctic, so this one is an easy recommend if you share my enthusiasm for such things. Inua is (essentially) a cross between a visual novel and a point and click adventure, where you are introduced to characters and scenes and then by finding certain objects you can open up the thoughts of the characters and then unlock further dialogue/thought options, and thus progress through the scenes and the story. There is no real choice involved and no alternate dialogue branches, and certainly no alternate endings, so there is truly only one way to go through the story (which some people deride as railroading, but I occasionally find refreshing because there's no pressure to annoyingly have to play through a bunch of scenes multiple times just to see what the alternatives were). On the downside, this does mean that it's basically an interactive story with the gameplay really just consisting of clicking on things. Again, if you have no problem with that, then you will enjoy yourself. The artwork/graphics are well done (if a little stylized), the writing is mostly on point, and the music/sound design is really quite nice. On the other hand, some of the voice acting is rather weak, and while the writing may mostly be on point there are a few characters that just don't wring true (the military personnel if I may be specific) and are at best caricatures. The overall story and flow of the plot is really quite clever, and I was really enjoying myself up until literally the last few minutes when the final ending left me kinda scratching my head a bit. Guess I'm just not intellectual enough to get it..... All in all, if you can handle the simplistic gameplay and just enjoy the story and artwork, this isn't half bad. Recommended.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This game was truly a fantastic experience! While there wasn't much "gameplay" in the traditional sense, I didn't feel it was necessary; the interaction with the thoughts and objects kept things interesting enough, and the story is the central focus after all. I thought the voice acting was very well done, even though there were some inconsistencies in audio quality here and there. Nothing major, but noticeable with certain voice actors. The story was fantastic! Although the ending was quite "brief," it left room for interpretation, which definitely had its own appeal. The narrative progression was also very well done, particularly the way the protagonists' behaviour changed over time (no spoilers). I also appreciated how the dark undertones regarding the treatment of the Inuit by the "explorers" and those who followed over the centuries, were woven in. This was also reflected in the protagonists' own changes and their behavior towards other characters (Prejudice etc.). Of course, the soundtrack must be mentioned; I don't think it could have been more fitting. At times, I even paused the game just to listen to it a little longer. All in all, I really enjoyed this story. It could have been a bit longer, but only because I wanted to spend more time with it! It’s a shame that this game seems to have been overlooked by most people, as it definitely deserves more attention and players!
Very beautiful and meaningful narrative experience!
One of the few games that i cant recommend enough. the story is instantly engaging and the information search is actually interesting, despite going back and forth between the same characters in some scenes, it never manages to feel tedious. I dont think i need to mention how rare that is. Its definitely worth the price, even if its not on sale. Its a fun ride with an interesting end and easy achievements, whats not to like?
This is a gorgeous gorgeous little game!! definitely recommend if you're interested in this historical event esp from an Inuit perspective
Beautiful game and soundtrack. I enjoyed the historical aspects of this game. The game did feel too short though, there should've been more before it ended so abruptly.
