About
Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is a side-scrolling shelter survival game that tasks you with guiding a desperate group of zombie apocalypse survivors to safety. Craft weapons, scavenge resources, balance your group’s needs, and try to get everyone out of danger alive.
Texas, 1980. Walton City is a sprawling, coastal metropolis in the grip of a scorching heatwave and crippling economic crisis. Everything changes when an unstoppable zombie outbreak reaches US shores. Walton City is soon overrun by hordes of the undead, the few remaining survivors cut off from any chance of outside help. Forced to band together, these everyday people must chase their only chance of survival by escaping the city.

Gather a group of ordinary people who have been left shaken by the sudden zombie outbreak that has devastated their city.
Establish upgradable shelters to house your survivors and protect them from the zombie threat — but remember that no barriers can keep them out forever.
Keep moving from refuge to refuge to stay one step ahead of the encroaching zombie hordes. Every night, your barricades will be under their relentless attack. And if they break through, your survivors will pay the price.
Balance the physical needs of the group, like Hunger or Exhaustion, as well as psychological needs like Despair. Heal survivors from injuries like Broken Ribs and try to manage traumas like Nightmares.

Creep through the remains of Walton City to scavenge precious resources, risking the life of each survivor as they encounter both zombie and human threats. Stealth is key to survival.
Choose whether to run from a fight or engage in brutal combat with whatever weapons you can find or craft. Not everyone is a natural fighter, but desperate people will do anything to survive.
Convince others to join your group or cut them down and claim their resources as your own.

Test your humanity as you make tough decisions on who will live, who will die, and who will be left behind.
Inhabit the rich and atmospheric cityscape of Walton City, the once-bustling metropolis now an eerie ruin swarming with zombies.
Craft tools, weapons, and shelter upgrades to better equip your survivors for the struggles ahead, or give them a moment of comfort and familiarity in their dangerous new world.
Encounter a varying world which makes sure that every playthrough is a new experience.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

amazing detailed game. I started the game during it's launch, haven't played it in a while. Jumped back in and now I love the updates since it's original launch
多一些任务就更好了
Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days does an excellent job of capturing the pressure and emotional strain of survival. What I love most is how well it balances resource management, survivor numbers, and the difficult decision of whether taking in more people is worth the extra risk. There are moments where everything feels like it is falling apart, but also moments of relief where your group is finally stable and things are going well. That balance makes the game feel tense, rewarding, and genuinely engaging. I also really appreciate the attention to detail in the world and progression. Small touches, like food in locations becoming spoiled later in the game, make the survival experience feel more believable and help reinforce the sense that time is passing and conditions are getting worse. My main issues are with stealth and injury consequences. Stealth attacks with different weapons do not feel different enough in gameplay. For example, silently slitting a zombie’s throat with a knife feels like it should be very different from using a loud baseball bat while the character grunts, but in practice there does not seem to be much difference. This makes weapon choice and stealth feel less meaningful than they could be. Similarly, being attacked does not always feel as consequential as it should. I have had characters brought down to very low health many times, but I have never had anyone bitten and turned into a zombie. Because of that, zombie attacks can start to feel less threatening than they should, especially in a game built around survival tension. Overall, I really enjoy Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days. It creates a strong survival atmosphere, has great resource pressure, and includes some excellent world detail. With more meaningful stealth differences and harsher consequences for zombie attacks, it could feel even more intense and immersive. 8/10
just really immersive, solid and very fun experience with a lot of options to directly adjust the game how you want it to be. If you are into zombie movies or games this is a must play
机制合理,可玩性很高,后期在每个人的个性互动反应再多些就更丰富了。期待完整版
