i remember playing a browser game by these guys back in 2013-2014 where you just stand in one spot and shoot targets that become increasingly more difficult to take down, practicing your aim basically. You had the ability to add an upgrade to your weapon once your score reached a specific threshold, and you could unlock new parts of the range as you progressed. I remember playing a demo on the browser too where you had to shoot robots that would sneak or run up to you and beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of you, truly scary times. It seems that I was late to the party unfortunately and there are absolutely 0 players online. I wonder what it would've been like had the game not died.

RIP was stoked about this one
It's kind of dead, and it stopped developing in Early Access, and it's not perfect by a long shot -- but it's freaking awesome. Especially for the now ridiculously low price.
For full disclosure I received this game for free as a drop from a stream when the early access was first coming out way back in 2013 - 2014. It's been 8 years. I believe the developers when they say they want to finish it - I just don't see how they will. There was a time when I would open the game and see something was added. I would check for the upcoming updates and features. There's silencers now? Cool. Another campaign type level other than Neurogen? Sweet. Holiday themed wargames? Nice. The PvP was neat. They were working on it and making progress. But those times are long, long gone. Nothing has happened in the game since 2019. On their official development page on Trello I can't find an update or post after 2020. Other people have better insight and have shared what happened better than I can, but this game will never be complete as it was promised. The land sharks will never be in the game (outside the easter eggs of course). So does that make it bad? Not necessarily, but I wouldn't recommend buying it at this point. I do enjoy playing it from time to time, on my own and with friends. The game itself is perfectly playable and I still have fun going through the levels (as basic as they are). Neurogen and Starcrown are still enjoyable. Getting a couple of my buddies who own the game and running through the levels is still a lot of fun. I genuinely like the atmosphere of the game and environments, but they're never going to have anything else added to them without some kind of crazy change. They will only ever have the couple of robot enemies types in them and maybe another player or two. What was promised would have been amazing, but what we have now is far from that. I still like to play it now and then, but that doesn't mean it's a good purchase. I'd skip it unless you're really sure it's what you want, and that's probably no one. There are better things out there. It makes me very sad to say I cannot recommend this game. I would love to say at some point I hope to be able to change this review and recommend the game and that it's being worked on, but I doubt it.
.
This is one of the best incomplete games I've ever played. One day, maybe one day this can reach its potential.
