About

Insurgency: Sandstorm delivers hardcore tactical combat where death is instant, ammunition is precious, and victory demands skill and coordination. Experience modern warfare's raw brutality through deadly ballistics, devastating artillery strikes, light attack vehicles, and HDR audio that puts the fear back into combat.

Push through war-torn streets, secure objectives, and survive lethal firefights. With no crosshair, minimal HUD, and realistic damage, every engagement demands tactical awareness and precision. Manage your ammunition carefully, use cover wisely, and coordinate with your squad—because in Sandstorm, there are no second chances.

Modern combat rewards those who communicate and adapt. Choose from specialized classes, coordinate devastating support strikes with your spotter, and respond to constantly shifting frontlines. Individual skill matters, but teamwork wins the fight.

Battle in intense PvP matches with up to 14v14 players or face relentless AI in co-op missions that demand tactical precision and squad coordination. Whether you prefer competitive firefights or cooperative survival under pressure, Sandstorm delivers.

Powered by gritty visuals and an unmatched soundscape, the chaos of combat comes alive without clutter or distraction. This isn't your typical shooter—this is war as it truly is: brutal, ruthless, and unforgettable.

Reviews
this game is very uniquely engaging - there's no grind for weapons/attachments, therefore i'd say this is a tactical sandbox, which is something i think a good selection of people will love. try it out!
Lots of guns and lots of shooting <3

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

its fun and realistic, but i got some advice: nerf those grenade launcher smh cz it requires no skill like you can shoot it randomly and got kills even teamates kill ; light armor/heavy is just the same they are more likely just an accessories nothing more ; oftenly enemies ran behind me without step sound like how th? ; imo health regen would be good but still broken armor ; and my device should be support atleast 120 fps on most heavy games but somehow it just stuck at 58fps? ; asian region too hard to matching server till i wait 30mins at the momment ; insurgency char has no camuflage color instead eye catching like its not fair for hiding/sniping
Game is full of ESP aimbot cheaters with wall hacks - don't even bother buying this game - clunky mess with movement of a crippled whale. Avoid trash game - could be great - needs ALOT of work. Update 06/07/26 - Game is RIDDLED WITH CHEATERS, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!
too much team killing and way too many cheaters in versus that wall hack and prevent the game from balancing the teams
The sweet spot between realism and fun. There is depth to the learning curve, the game is fun and rewarding to play. There are many approaches to achieving an objective. Insurgency Sandstorm gets frequent updates on balancing, new maps and new weapons. The community is awesome, almost every match you will find chill and communicative teammates.
I really want to like this game, but it has no local servers for Africa-based players. An otherwise cool game is therefore made unplayable and essentially a waste for anyone not based in specific areas.
very good, gave me PTSD
