Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Jul 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Short Review Although very unfortunate that Shiny Shoe had to "give up" this game so to speak due to poor sales, what is here is a really well made roguelite with excellent multiplayer, fun build variety, and some unique classes, where you are easily able to get quite a few hours worth of fun, at least in my opinion. The game also comes with a somewhat satisfying unlock system where you will strive for certain unlocks at least early on, but none of them are particularly difficult or grindy. I'm a roguelite enthusiast to say the least and I love to find new roguelites with different spins or approaches or unique build variety etc. Inkbound is one that I hesitated on purchasing early on mostly due to now knowing enough about it at the time and generally being hesitant about turn-based combat, but after having played it with a friend of mine I've found myself thinking about it quite a bit and comparing it to other games in the genre. I know some might not consider 30 hours a lot which is true by a lot of standards, but I can easily see myself playing more and definitely wanting for more of what the game has to offer. Inkbound has a very satisfying flow and feel to it, albeit a bit rigid in terms of animations but nonetheless each run had me enjoying whatever build I went with or enjoying every single class to some extent and made me curious about their potential. It is indeed a shame that there won't be more classes, bindings, vestiges, and bosses, but what there is on display I think is worth giving a try, especially on sale. Although maybe not as highly esteemed as SuperGiant Games (Bastion, Hades, Transistor) a company that has hooked me since Bastion and then hit me with bangers ever since, Shiny Shoe piqued my interest when they first came out with Monster Train much like Bastion did, and for all it does do well they have also impressed me with Inkbound in spite of the unfortunate end result. By that I don't mean that I expected a live-service game, I just wanted more of what it has to offer in-general. I will definitely be trying Monster Train 2 when it comes out and likely whatever else they try, as I find their spin on things very entertaining and they've earned that with these 2 releases at least from my perspective. If you're a fan of roguelites, don't mind turn-based combat, and especially if you have a friend or two to pick this up with, I definitely recommend it.
Fun co-op with lots of missions to achieve and very different builds with a bunch of characters. Like the replayability.

Smooth gameplay with lots of build diversity.
Super fun combat puzzler. It's not as deep as I hoped but it's a great run based time killer.
While I am disappointed to hear that the devs are no longer working on the game, there is still a lot here to enjoy! My first run lasted around 3-4 hours, and my team (myself and two friends) all had a great time. The gameplay feels pretty unique for a rogue-like, turn-based strategic combat with a focus on building and executing combos, and I'm interested to try the other classes and feel how they play. Here's hoping that the devs make the unlikely decision to show this game some more love following their new game's EA launch.
