Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Influent is a language learning game on Steam that teaches foreign language vocabulary through exploration and interaction. Instead of traditional learning methods, Influent places players inside a fully interactive 3D apartment where everyday objects can be clicked to reveal their names and pronunciation in the selected language. This approach helps language learners associate words with real world context by seeing objects in their natural environment making vocabulary easier to remember and more intuitive to recall and use in real life situations.
Designed for language learners, students, travelers, and polyglots alike, Influent focuses on building a strong foundation of practical vocabulary. Each word's pronunciation is voiced by native speakers, allowing players to hear accurate pronunciation while learning naturally. Influent supports multiple languages and allows players to learn at their own pace without time limits, pressure, or rigid lesson structures.
Influent turns language learning into an exploratory experience. Players can walk freely through a realistic apartment and interact with absolutely everything in the game, including furniture, household items, doors, drawers, and appliances. Every object is labeled in the chosen language, making it easy to connect vocabulary with familiar items from everyday life.
This method is especially effective for beginners and visual learners who want to learn vocabulary in context rather than memorizing word lists. Players can repeat audio as often as they like and explore words in any order, reinforcing learning through curiosity and repetition.
Every language in Influent includes native speaker audio for all vocabulary words. This ensures accurate pronunciation and helps learners develop better listening skills alongside vocabulary recognition. Hearing words spoken naturally is essential for building confidence in speaking and comprehension, especially for languages with unfamiliar sounds.
Influent supports a wide range of foreign languages, making it a versatile language learning game for multilingual learners. Players who are interested in more than one language can purchase additional DLC packs and then switch languages at any time, allowing them to study more than one language or compare vocabulary across languages.
This makes Influent useful for:
Students studying foreign languages
Travelers preparing for real world situations
Polyglots learning multiple languages
Gamers looking for an educational game with real life value
Influent is designed to be flexible and stress free. There are no forced lessons, no daily streaks, and no penalties for taking breaks. Players choose what to learn and when to learn it. This makes Influent suitable both as a primary vocabulary learning tool and as a supplement to traditional language study methods.
If you are looking for a language learning game on Steam, a vocabulary learning game with native audio, or an educational game for learning foreign languages, Influent offers a unique alternative to traditional study tools. By combining interactive 3D environments with authentic pronunciation and player driven learning, Influent helps make language learning more engaging, approachable, and most importantly, fun!
“By immersing the player in the target language, Influent closely models the way we naturally learn our native language. I suggest giving Influent a try.”

Developed by Rob Howland and published by Three Flip Studios, Influent Language Learning Game takes a refreshingly unconventional approach to language education. Instead of presenting lessons through worksheets, grammar exercises, or rigid classroom-style structures, it transforms the process of learning vocabulary into an interactive exploration experience. The game places players inside a fully navigable environment where nearly every object can be examined, identified, and learned in a chosen language. This simple but effective concept creates an educational experience that feels more like discovery than traditional study. The foundation of Influent revolves around immersion through interaction. Players explore a detailed apartment packed with everyday objects ranging from furniture and electronics to food, clothing, and household items. By clicking on these objects, learners instantly see and hear their corresponding names in the target language. This direct association between visual objects and vocabulary creates a natural learning process that mirrors how people often acquire language in real life. Rather than memorizing isolated words from a list, players build connections between terms and recognizable items, making retention feel more intuitive. One of the most appealing aspects of the game is its accessibility. There is no requirement to possess prior knowledge of a language before starting. Beginners can simply wander through the environment, interact with objects, and gradually expand their vocabulary at a comfortable pace. The absence of complicated mechanics allows the educational content to remain the central focus. This design makes Influent approachable not only for language enthusiasts but also for casual learners who may feel intimidated by more traditional study methods. The game's vocabulary-focused design proves particularly effective because it emphasizes practical language usage. The words encountered throughout the apartment are generally relevant to everyday life, making them immediately useful for real-world situations. Learners are exposed to common nouns, descriptive terms, and action-oriented vocabulary that can serve as a foundation for broader language study. This practical approach helps ensure that time spent in the game feels productive rather than academic for its own sake. Pronunciation support is another area where Influent excels. Native-speaker audio accompanies vocabulary entries, allowing players to hear authentic pronunciation as they learn. This feature significantly enhances the educational value of the experience because language learning involves more than simple word recognition. Being able to repeatedly listen to words while associating them with visual objects helps reinforce memory and develop listening skills simultaneously. For learners tackling unfamiliar sounds or pronunciation systems, this feature becomes especially valuable. The variety of supported languages greatly expands the game's appeal. Rather than focusing on a small selection of popular languages, Influent offers opportunities to study a wide range of linguistic options. This flexibility allows players to pursue personal interests, prepare for travel, or experiment with entirely new languages without needing to learn a new interface each time. The consistent structure across language packs makes switching between languages simple and convenient. Another strength lies in the freedom offered to the player. Unlike many educational platforms that enforce strict progression systems, daily challenges, or achievement-based learning paths, Influent allows complete control over the pace and direction of study. Players can focus on specific categories of vocabulary, revisit previously learned words, or simply explore without pressure. This relaxed structure creates an inviting environment that encourages curiosity rather than obligation. The visual presentation complements the educational goals effectively. The apartment environment is colorful, organized, and easy to navigate. Objects are distinct and recognizable, making it simple to identify and remember vocabulary. While the graphics are not designed to compete with modern high-budget games, they fulfill their purpose admirably by providing a clear and engaging learning space. The interface remains uncluttered, ensuring that educational content remains the primary focus throughout the experience. Despite its many strengths, Influent does have limitations. Its greatest weakness is that it focuses almost exclusively on vocabulary acquisition. Players can build impressive word banks, but the game offers limited instruction regarding grammar, sentence construction, or conversational communication. Those hoping to achieve complete language proficiency through Influent alone will likely find the experience insufficient. The game works best as one component within a broader learning strategy rather than as a standalone solution. The lack of structured educational progression may also be challenging for certain learners. While the freedom to explore is appealing, some users prefer clearly defined lessons and guided objectives. Without a strong framework directing what should be learned next, newcomers may occasionally feel uncertain about how to maximize their study sessions. This open-ended approach works wonderfully for self-motivated learners but may not suit everyone equally. Repetition eventually becomes another consideration. Since the apartment environment serves as the primary learning space, players will eventually encounter most of the available objects and vocabulary. At that point, continued learning depends largely on review and reinforcement rather than the discovery of new content. Although repetition is a critical component of language acquisition, the gameplay itself can become somewhat predictable during extended use. Even with these limitations, Influent succeeds because it focuses on a specific educational objective and executes it exceptionally well. It removes many of the barriers that make language learning feel intimidating and replaces them with exploration, curiosity, and direct interaction. The game understands that building vocabulary is often one of the first and most important steps in learning a new language, and it provides an engaging environment specifically designed for that purpose. Influent Language Learning Game is not a complete replacement for textbooks, tutors, or comprehensive language courses. However, as a vocabulary-building tool, it remains remarkably effective and uniquely engaging. Its immersive environment, practical vocabulary selection, native-speaker audio, and learner-friendly design combine to create an experience that feels both educational and enjoyable. For students, travelers, hobbyists, or anyone looking for a more interactive approach to learning words and pronunciation, Influent remains one of the most creative and useful language-learning experiences available on Steam.
