This is actually a fighting game, but the opponent is the clock It's not a racing game. Each car has a unique control scheme, in a way that I've never seen before. It's deceiving because no where in the menu does it say, "you literally have to press different buttons in different orders to drive this car." Taking each corner perfectly requires putting in the right "combo" essentially. Absolutely recommend this on sale. I think the amount of content is a little light for $20, but $10-$15 bucks plus the dlc, buy it. ----- That said I have 2 complaints... or well notes. Firstly, this one is subjective. The character design is an absolute turn off, it's the reason I waited 6 years to buy the game. I saw it a very long time ago, I just can't vibe with any of the character designs. I can tell you it was worth it, just ignore the characters. Secondly, menus could have been planned out better. Once you're in the game you're greeted with a really sparse menu, which doesn't really point out which order the content is designed to be played it. It's Story, Challenge then Grand Prix. With the Rivals dlc being afterwards. The story menu is the same way, it's actually a difficulty selection screen, not a character selection. The game gradually ramps up difficulty so you will want to play those in order. ----- Overall I just wish I'd given the game a chance sooner. And honestly hope we get a sequel... This feels like the proof of concept for an amazing franchise. Adding things like actual opponent cars to race against, instead of every race being a "Time attack ghost." Better character descriptions, including recommendations on how to control the car on corners. better UI/Menu design in general. And races against up to 4, maybe 6 other cars could be super chaotic and fun on these tight tracks. There's a lot of little improvements that could make a sequel even closer to perfect.

Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I do NOT like how the drifting feels at all.
Fun game with really interesting driving mechanics and physics. They are pretty hard to master though, both on keyboard or controller. Each car feels very different to drive, so don't get too used to a specific one if you want to complete the game.
Without the story, character design and anything other than what has to do with driving, this would get a positive review. I just don't care about your diverse cast.
Controlling the car feel so satisfying, really worth to try
Really mediocre at best Ridge Racer clone. Pros are, I suppose the unique approach to controls, but everything else is awful. The character art is horrific, like some sort of tumblr show. It's so bad I'm completely repulsed by it and don't have any reason to engage with the story. Then there's the controls. It completely handicapped any sense of turning so you only drift really. This would be fine if the drifting or maps felt good, but they don't. Everything feels sluggish, oh but if you want a harder drift, too bad, that feels awful too! It's either too little or too much. Oh, and the racing, awful, horrible. There's no sense of actually racing, you're driving in these pretty bland maps against nobody. There's not even crashing with other cars, because any other car is a ghost. It'd help if the OST went crazy, but I couldn't even take note of it. I don't expect some R4 level of artistry, but god dayum this isn't even indie Ridge Racer 5 or 7.
Really fun arcade racer with a unique drift mechanic which feels great to use.
Fun to play, I don't know of any other racing games that provide this style of driving experience.
Well, you can probably guess it from the title: this game is about drifting. So if this is what you like, you will probably enjoy it. Some cars are less fun (they say more difficult, but this is not how I would qualify them anyway) than other, but overall, you will spend a nice, although short moment with Inertial Drift.
I have no idea what the devs were smoking with these unhinged controls. Sure, if you've never touched a racing game in your life, you might actually enjoy the brain-dead arcade handling. But if you have any actual muscle memory for proper throttle control, braking, and steering on a gamepad, this game will completely break your brain. It actively punishes you for knowing how to drive. And don't even get me started on the PC port. The M&K support is absolute dogwater. ZERO custom keybinds, and they force you to juggle WASD and the arrow keys? It aggressively screams 'lazy console port'. Even on the Steam Deck, the experience is painfully mid. Literally the only redeeming quality this game has is the art style.
