INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in a strange world where religious visions clash with harsh reality. It tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual, horn-headed companion by her side.
On the outside, Indika seems to be a typical nun attempting to adjust to a difficult and monotonous monastery life. Humble and innocent in her appearance, do not be deceived as this young girl has also made a highly unlikely acquaintance—as she speaks with the devil himself.

Indika’s unusual connection with the Evil One leads her on an errand beyond the safe walls of the monastery. The world she discovers can only be described as a wild combination of comedy and tragedy straight out of the novels by Dostoyevski and Bulhakov.
The subjects of religion and authority are prevalent throughout Indika’s journey and she’ll be faced with many questions along the way. Guide her to find the answers one by one before she can finish her life-defining odyssey.
Odd Meter is a small, independent studio formerly based in Moscow and now operating out of Kazakhstan. Its members put aesthetics at the forefront and aren’t afraid to tread the fine line of ethical norms. Their game is a great testament to that, as INDIKA constitutes an open challenge to the industry's established approach to creating video games.

Completion: Story completed, 7/16 achievements Overall Score: 8.5/10

An unusual puzzle game with a strong story
Recommended if you enjoy atmospheric puzzle-platformers with religious symbolism, moral ambiguity, and an unconventional story.

Context
Platform: PC Controls: controller Playtime at review: ~7 hours Mode played: single-player

What This Game Is in 2-3 Sentences
This is a story-driven puzzle-platformer following Indika, a young nun struggling with faith, guilt, morality, and her own internal conflict. It combines atmospheric 3D exploration and environmental puzzles with deliberately difficult pixel-art platforming sections that represent a very different layer of her experience. The core loop: explore oppressive environments, solve inventive puzzles, experience character-driven scenes, and work through challenging pixel-art platforming segments. What makes it interesting/unique: its religious themes are not treated as simple rules about good and evil, but as questions of interpretation, context, and contradiction.

What Is Especially Good
1. The story constantly twists biblical rules and moral expectations, showing that an action can appear sinful in isolation while becoming understandable or even justified in its actual context. Indika's internal conflict makes these questions feel personal rather than purely philosophical. 2. Both sides of the gameplay work well. The pixel-art sections are surprisingly challenging, while the 3D environmental puzzles are inventive enough that the game succeeds as an actual puzzle title rather than merely an interactive story.

What Is Problematic
3. The ending is intentionally open, but it still feels slightly cut short. We do not learn whether
Indika escapes, is captured, remains a nun elsewhere, or abandons that life entirely
, although this makes sense because the story ultimately resolves her internal problem rather than her entire future. 4. The subject matter is very specific and sometimes grotesque. Players uninterested in religion, uncomfortable with moral ambiguity, sensitive to disturbing imagery, or strongly opposed to its treatment of faith, gender roles, and institutional power may find it difficult to enjoy.

Technical State
FPS / stability / loading: consistently smooth and stable Bugs: rare

Price / Value / Monetization
Full price: worth it despite the relatively short runtime On sale: an easy recommendation Microtransactions / DLC: none

Summary in 2 Sentences
Who I recommend it to: puzzle and platformer fans who enjoy oppressive atmosphere, morally complex stories, religious themes, and games reminiscent of INSIDE or Little Nightmares. Who I do not recommend it to: players looking for action, a straightforward moral message, a fully explained ending, or a comfortable and conventional portrayal of religion.

Every market we collect.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

QUERO MAIS.

I am mad that this game is so short. Credits rolled when I felt like the story was just getting started. Beautifully made. Loved every minute of it. Even wasting my time at the well.
