Ok! So... This Game is REALLY GOOD but theres a big BUT/IF. You will enjoy this game if you are into campy ass Rpg maker games, a weirdo, and like "tumblr humor." reminds me a lot of Toby Fox's writing but whatever. Ok lets get into the review... POS I will say this game has the best character writing in any game I have played before. All the characters are extremely likeable without the narrative forcing you to like them. (They will stay in your head). The main character is prob one of my favorite protags of all time because of how relatable he is. The art work in game is honestly really great (except for the damn trailer art) every little CG you get is amazing. Skipping over to the music, there's very little tracks but it honesty works really well with the story. All the songs are bangers and enjoyed them all. NEG If you are a completionist, this game will drive you a little crazy with the amount of backtracking and small missable stuff you will miss and have to do mutiple play throughs to find it. do not play this game without a guide if you are trying to 100%. I rec playing the first run blind then go back and do what you wanna do. Completionism aside this game is very text heavy and a lot of gameplay is doing the same thing over and over again to get a different result. Overalll I rec this game if you are into campy cute RPG maker games. The characters I would say are the real selling point that make the game overall worth it. The story is good aswell but some may say its a little cliche.
This game was an emotional rollercoaster. It's very good at juggling between comedy and tragedy. I could laugh in one moment then feel emotional in the next. The characters are so endearing and loveable, the main cast is so well crafted. I love love love all of them. There is so much positive to say about this game. If you love a story that tugs with your heart, relatable characters and silly moments, GET THIS GAME!! :D There is so much more I could say, but I don't want to spoil the experience teehee
This was an amazing game to experience. The writing and world building is top tier and genuinely makes you care about your team playing through the game. Combat is simple & effective, but the loop mechanic is what really sells the entire the game. This game deserves more attention!
