Impulsion

I feel like in addition to the Souls-like genre, there should also be a Portal-like genre because it feels like there are a ton of indie game inspired by Portal, with my favorite being Lightmatter. You can defiantly feel Portal's DNA in Impulsion as well. The relatively short length, the two different colors you shot, the robot taunting you over the intercom, the future Syfy setting, the numbered test rooms. The real difference in game-play though is while Portal focuses on straight puzzle solving, Impulsion's has it's eye on fast movement. I had fun with it, but in a beat your head against the wall until you win kind of way. Of the 6 hours I spent playing this game, and full hour was spent on the final level, and trust me, I was losing it by the end. I think this game is worth a look, especially if you like hard games, but if you rather not tare your hair out, maybe play Lightmatter or replay Portal instead.

Хрен знает какая по счёту идеальная вещь для бэклога. Не понравилось отсутствие бега и слегка затянутые диалоги, а так типичная дpочка на испыталку на время. Побаиваюсь, что со временем станет однообразнее и скучнее, предпосылки для этого имеются, к сожалению. Бесит, что в конце высвечивается оценка за прохождение, вообще не моя тема, нах так делать. Не рекомендую, пока есть DeadCore, но сам игру навсегда забрасывать не буду.

good fast-paced platformer. put music on so it drowns out the dialogue and puts you in the zone
