Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 8.86/day in the week to Aug 7 → 13.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Cortito pero ta bueno
I'm a wuss and this was terrifying to play. 10/10
went into this thinking it was a simple descending game with cool hook mechanics, heard something crawling behind me and got scared ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ by it. recommend.

Conceptually interesting game, but it quickly becomes very weak once you realize the amount of content is equivalent to an unfinished project or a demo, with the addition of a price tag slapped on it. The campaign, or a single linear map in the entire game, is mostly empty space with rock ledges and pillars scattered around. There are occasional lit spots and glowing shrubbery, but they're only progression indicators. Given the overall simple design, it makes sense, but it doesn't help with the gameplay itself. All the grappling action is reduced to throwing your hook onto a horizontal platform and that's basically it. From there, you drop down to a lower ledge or swing elsewhere. There are barely any slants or tricky spots, and for that, it also makes grappling obsolete for the most part, because the character can just jump from ledge to ledge from great heights with their (no evidence) bionic legs. So, for the most part, you're leaping down from places and it is supported further with health bulbs scattered around the place. The story didn't offer much besides some holographic visuals tied to various checkpoints relating to "her" and inner monologues for extra context. Given its vagueness and teeny tiny bit of lore, it almost serves no purpose in this game, other than giving the player a reason to climb down. At least the ending was cinematic. The Centipede, which I expected to be a persistent threat, was only seen once throughout my entire run. Visually, it looks great, and I love how it spirals towards the player. But, if you're continuously climbing down without spending an extra second exploring, then the Centipede doesn't seem to be able to make an appearance. There are no scripted events to make it pop up from somewhere either. It just moves around with or without distant player detection. Or it bugged out for me, I don't know. I didn't bother to learn about it more. Since this game only showcases a story game and doesn't mention the Sandbox mode at all (the "additional content" text in the description isn't helpful), then I'll treat it as such, even though Sandbox can help improve or solve some of the problems I mentioned, like damage multiplier or Centipede behavior. It doesn't offer enough to make up for the campaign, but being able to create your own difficulty is a nice touch. If you care about the star of the game - grappling hook, and want to support the developer, go for it. To me, this felt more like an experiment with the added characteristics of a game without much effort put into them. It is somewhat of a new title, so, maybe it's still receiving more content and polish, but I'm not eager to wait for it. For now, I'm refunding it.
Oui.
Idols of Ash is, for $3, more than worth your money. I played through the main mode in about an hour, 40ish minutes, but there are a few bonus levels, which are the multiple hours otherwise. I have complaints about the enemy design, but I feel that's a little outside the scope of this little diatribe and it doesn't like, ruin the experience or anything. pick it up. it is $3. I think supporting what Idols of Ash represents, too, is very important.
