About
Allocate stats and shape your build through meaningful progression
Unlock 50+ Dao paths that define your playstyle
Collect Aspects that persist through rebirth
Rebirth to push your progression further each cycle
Advance through multiple systems including bosses, sect progression, and new realms
Idle Xanxia is a system-driven idle RPG where progression comes from how you build your character.
Start with nothing and grow stronger by:
allocating stats
choosing Dao paths
developing long-term synergies
Each decision impacts how your build performs over time.
Progression is built around interconnected systems:
Attributes — define your core strengths
Dao Paths — unlock abilities and shape your strategy
Aspects — persistent passive powers tied to enemies
These systems interact to create different builds and progression paths.
When you reach your limits, rebirth:
Keep key progression systems
Improve your next run
Push further each cycle
Rebirth is not a reset — it is progression.
As you advance, new systems unlock:
Sect progression and structured advancement
New enemies, mechanics, and challenges
Additional layers of long-term growth
The game is designed around progression over multiple cycles.

Very slow beginning, almost unnoticeable improvements across the first resets, no new mechanics after that. All in all not much going on.
If you like mind-numbingly slow progress, virtually zero interaction, a badly scaled UI, and systems that are never explained, then this is for you. I'll pass. Not even worth the price.
decent game until you max yourself out as a disciple then it becomes a very active game and slow game which is not what I'm looking of in an idle game also its nvr clear what you should be working on next, though you can eventually intuit what to do next it takes some thought though i played during early access so they might fix this part in the complete game

Massive slow grind, to slow, the game is patients, there is no stratigy or even a feeling of progression. Maybe it will change, like after 1000 hours lol, but I doubt it. If all you want from a idle game is to just have it run for 1 hour, make 5 clicks and go do something else, you might like this. But for me this is just so slow, I do not even see the point, unless patients is the point. Edit: After 103 hour, literally no change. Even the little progress is so unrewarding and irrelevant. meow. If this was free I would still not play it. Edit: after 152hr. No change the game is as boring now that it was at the start. Really it is so slow, only reason why I keep it running is because I do not need to do a thing, but a few clicks every 4 hours or so. Have no idea how a human can make something so boring and call it a game. This is like watching paint dry, but the paint never does. Edit: 200hr, the game has changed and has far more option now, as you unlock sect, but I can see the cost of things == grind. So 200 hr and not much to unlock more grind options, but at least there is a bit of thought, now. lol
I can't give this a good rating due to how unsafe the saves are in this game, and the time you need to put into it lost so easily. One power cut is all it took, and now, there's no saves, and seemingly no way to recover them, all that progress lost.
So, even though this is an early access game there is still a lot of time to spend learning the systems and playing around with different builds while having fun, and anyone with an itch to scratch in this realm should give it a shot. Developer is very communicative and prompt with bugs feedback and development, as well as Discord. Certainly worth so far.
It's idle, so its not much that can be done gameplay wise, but it hits all the stuff you love about Xanxia; You got Dao, you got aspects, you have a sect that trash talks you, you can have a pet dragon that trash talks anything and everything with ever insult you've ever read in the novels. The dev is very active and passionate, I think its not only worth full price, but getting the supporter pack too just for the dragon to sit behind you and just remind you that if you pass on this game, you have eyes but cannot see Mt. Tai.
This game is first and foremost under development, so keep that in mind if and when you buy it. The game is great, I love Idle games, and I love Xanxia stories so this tickles a good itch for me. Progression is mostly idle with some active choices you have to make such as Dao, and things like that. In adition to this, there are several other aspects, such as the Sect, Secret Realm, and a few others that are slightly more involved, but still fun and still mostly idle. Overall: 10/10 absolutly recommend. Update: After reading through some of the other reviews I wanted to clarify something, the rebirth mechanics in this game are a little odd in the begining with how scripted they might feel, but with how Dao exp works, this is bit of an illusian.
Great idle game. Lots of opportunities to make unique builds.
