Good looking oldscool TD, with cookie clicker upgrade aspects etc.. I really like the idea.. But I think the PVP things that are not supported anymore, and its pay-to-win like most of the mobile games nowadays.
Idle Monster TD had me in its claws from the moment I booted it up. This wasn’t just another tower defense game, this was a masterclass in idle design wrapped around one of the most addictive genres ever created. Every wave I cleared, every monster I leveled, every new map I unlocked — it all felt like progress carved straight into my dopamine receptors. For 100 glorious hours, I was unstoppable. The game loop is flawless — towers that feel powerful, synergies that actually matter, upgrades that drip-feed the kind of satisfaction idle fans like me crave. Watching your little monsters stand their ground against endless hordes is chef’s kiss. You don’t just play Idle Monster TD, you live it. It’s the type of game you leave running while you sleep and wake up excited to see how far you pushed. The charm? Off the charts. The pacing? Perfect, right up until the wall. The sheer joy of optimizing your defenses and watching it all click into place? Untouchable. Honestly, in terms of raw fun, this was one of the best idle/TD combos I’ve ever touched. …But then it happened. The dreaded P2W wall. One minute I’m cruising, the next minute the game drops an iron curtain that screams: “Whale up or get out.” After 100 hours of grinding, strategizing, and loving every second, I slammed face-first into a progression brick wall that wasn’t skill-based, wasn’t grind-based — it was just pure cash grab. And that’s the tragedy. This could’ve been an all-time idle great. This could’ve been the game I played for thousands of hours, singing its praises forever. Instead, it turned into a cautionary tale about how P2W ruins masterpieces. ✨ Idle Monster TD is still amazing — those 100 hours were pure bliss. But unless you’re ready to swipe your card, that bliss comes with an expiration date. ✨ ⭐ Final Score: 9/10 for the game itself, 3/10 for the P2W wall. If it weren’t for that nonsense, this would’ve been the best idle tower defense game ever made.
Good until the server disconnects and you will lose progress, unless maybe if it can reconnect to the server before you close it Edit: Changed review to negative, progress should never be lost this easily
nice tower defense with idle option

Fun and engaging to an extent. Although, I must ask. Why can't I manually save the game? Why can't I import a save game? Why can't I reset the game? (if i rolled too many duplicates) Edit: I have to keep thumbs up bc I've dumped so many hours in at this point but the roll backs are really cutting down my progress horribly. I'll drop 2k essence on monster drops and get great drops then wait 15 mins plus for a save to happen and close the game only to reopen it the next day and find I still have my essence and I lost the drops. I would'nt spend a dime on this game until they fix or add manual save.
