pretty unique take on a semi idler and incremental game, would love to see more world building and story though
Very interesting concept. Definitely worth the 5 dollars!

I am on hour 11 and still can't wait to play more of this game, that's got to mean this game is doing something right.
A surprisingly fun game, I wasn't expecting as much enjoyment as I did. For medium-higher end pc's its a neat little game to have running in the back when playing something else, or to just play standalone. This is something I'd recommend to anyone wanting to play a fun incremental game. Although its very fun, near the end of the game it shifts from tasks, trading, and exploring, to waiting for time locks to progress to the next area. all around a fun game, but it definitely will take a while to finish.
So I played about 10 hours of the demo of this and have played through almost the full game. Definitely an easy recommendation. Its a fun game with nice incremenetal elements. You don't have to run it as an Idle game, but the feature is there.
I've played a few incrementals, and a general through line across all of them is interacting with systems, in hopes of getting upgrades who's literally only purpose is to help minimize interaction with those systems. Because of that, I personally find the entire genre confusing and backwards. This game is just that. Every system is built to waste your time, so you can try and get upgrades so it wastes your time less, but then instead of making things more difficult, or introducing new mechanics for the player to master, it just slaps bigger numbers on the exact same thing you were already doing, nullifying the effective progress made through previous upgrades, resulting in more wasted time. I literally got to the point of just sitting and reading a book while letting POIs repair for literal hours. I just don't get it. At least Bullet Heavens have a focus on build creation within short turnarounds, half an hour or so. This game is arguably one of the more time-intensive incrementals I've played that isn't a true idle-game like Bitburner, having upwards of 8 hours between Prestieges. 8 hours of moving from one location to the next, collecting resources, and upgrading the same few items. Maybe I'm being dumb for not interacting with the quest/task system because I forgot to buy the mechanic until my second Prestiege. But even that seems rather strange of a situation to get into. Even in comparison to the other games I've played of the genre, it seems needlessly time-intensive. Common loop period I've seen is a couple hours at most, and subsequent loops introducing different mechanics. I'm not getting that here. But, I have noticed there does seem to be a sub-genre of these weird "leave in the background for an entire week" incrementals, which I find nothing short of absurd. But to contradict that, offline progress is locked behind Prestiege upgrades. So I'm not sure what the idea here is. The major redeeming aspect is that there is an attempt at traditional gameplay, given that you do get to move a character, and set up a pseudo-automation system to generate power via inventory-Tetris. Albeit, that expected interaction may be to its detriment as well, as the borderline browser-farming-game timescale marrs the experience too bad for me to continue beyond my second Prestiege. If all this review has convinced you to buy the game, cool. I'd say you'll get 30-40 hours out of it. To me, this game isn't worth 30 hours, regardless of how little I paid for it. I will say, something good, this game has likely convinced me to blacklist the incremental tag. No hate on y'all who like it, but I just do not get it. Feed the Core was fun, but I also finished all the endings for that game in half the time it took me to finish one Prestiege in this one.
Very cool concept. Great game so far, and looks like an attentive dev. Go for it
It's an easy game to have on in the back ground while watching stuff or eating. Good and nice incremental if you like that kind of game.
