I don't think there is a single shooter I've played quite like I am your Beast. the gameplay is peak and the soundtrack is incredible. Its actually the perfect length for what it is. one of the greatest shooters I've ever played
Тут говорят, игра коротенькая на пару часов... Ну, э, если просто на раз пройти, то да. Но основной челлендж явно в прохождении на ранг S. Что я компульсивно и делал, не продвигаясь дальше, пока не закончу. Даже на A всегда просто. Есть ещё дополнительные цели, но они почти всегда лёгкие, за исключением самых сложных дополнительных уровней. А суть в простраивании максимально эффективного маршрута и его выполнении. Разные виды убийств дают разный бонус времени, так что нужно решать: сделать более сложное убийство или быстрее с ним не заморачиваться, как врагов в кучу для взрыва собрать, каким оружием сейчас эффективнее будет и чтобы у него хватило патронов. Пара советов: включите в настройках автобег и по большей части не заморачаиваетесь с ронянием и добиванием врагов, т.к. добивание сбивает бег. Зачастую быстрее хедшотов на -0,5с наставить, чем давить на земле на -0,8. А бросание ножа даёт всего на 0,1 секунду больше времени, чем убийство с хедшот/убийство с дробовика. Есть мелкие проблемы с выбором активного предмета на бегу: зачастую берётся нож вместо дробовика или активации ноутбука. Ну и в целом вы будете делать мелкие ошибки на каждом шагу, а одна ошибка и ты скорее всего ошибся: потеряны драгоценные две секунды и всё, до ранга уже не добрать. Так что придётся запускать снова и снова, помирая с криками "Ну почемууу". Но в итоге выглядишь как жонглёр, который точными выстрелами раскидывает десятки врагов, попадает в голову с 50 метров навскидку и получает сладкий кубок в виде ранга S, который действительно пришлось заслужить.

Incredibly satisfying, fast-paced gameplay. A speedrunner I am not, so I won't be 100%ing this, but that's okay. It's been a lot of fun already.

[i]Milý deníčku... [/i] [b]I Am Your Beast[/b] je adrenalinem nasosané FPS, kde jako agent likvidujete roční rozpočet vašeho bývalého zaměstnání bleskovým a extrémně stylovým způsobem. Ovládání je intuitivní, game loop adiktivní a audio je kulervoucí! Všechno v lehce komiksovém kabátku a dobře nadabovaným příběhem vám poskytne, byť krátký, ale zato zatraceně masivní dopamínový trip.

After playing El Paso Elsewhere from the same devs I was curious about I Am Your Beast, because the one problem El Paso had was not having a super satisfying gameplay / gunplay which was held up by presentation and story being outstanding The world of "I am your beast" is pretty grounded in theory, with an agent trying to avoid getting back into working for the government on covert international missions. The light story and simple dialogue (extremely well written though) are just a wrapping for the real star: the gameplay. Gun feel is amazing, the nature of levels being both style and time ranked just ticks that right nerve and it feels to get into a loop of mastery which just keeps you coming back (and also there are very hard end game levels that will test your skills to the max) So if you like fast paced stylish FPS levels and like to speedrun, this game is just FUN as hell.
