I know that I have a lot of hours in this game, because i did complete it, but I don't think I would recommend it to anyone. In most survival crafting games, maybe there's an alternating of grinding sections and then you can go accomplish something like exploring or fighting a boss. In this game, about 2 hours in, you just start a constant grind. I kept thinking "Ok, now I unlock this next tool and can explore" but then I would get to move for another ten minutes and then hit another massive wall. I think I only completed it because I got to a certain point and hit the sunk cost fallacy. Would not play again. Would not recommend.
abandoned. freezes whole pc and steamdeck on startup. even if you can make in to ingame, crashes. you cant quit normally without forcing it via task manager.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

I Am Future – Cozy Endzeit mit Bastel-Charme Genre: 🌿 Cozy Survival | 🔧 Crafting & Aufbau | 🎣 Erkundung & kleine Rätsel Gameplay & Atmosphäre: I Am Future fühlt sich an, als hätte The Last of Us Urlaub gemacht – in bunt.
The game from the trailers looks great, but that isn't what you are presented with upon purchase. The point of the game is a Cozy apocalypse simulator, yet all that coziness is ripped away from the controls for the player and camera being so terrible. The game's artstyle and concept look and sound amazing, but the way it was pulled off here is not worth the price, even at 50% off. Wait until a sale where it goes under 7.50-5.00, then maybe its worth it. According to other reviews, the end game with automation and such isn't even all that great as the systems that do it are also poorly made and janky. Good idea, but bad execution.
I Am Bored: Survival Lacking QoL I am Future is a survival crafting game with a reasonably unique set up. You're stranded on a rooftop, the world is flooded. You don't know why you're there or what has happened but you're reasonably good with technology and have a customisable robot hand. You use said hand to clear out the space, build new inventions and tools whilst learning about, why you're there and the cause of the apocalypse and such. The premise is neat and the interaction with deconstructing materials is somewhat engaging. You can also take apart appliances which was really cool in the demo, but in the fully game there's only 5 things to dismantle which really kneecaps the coolness. The early games exploration and questions are fun but around halfway in the game just starts to drag after you've ground up your 1000th table and such. Something that I think hinders this game the most is that as you progress deeper into the game, you get some good progression and QoL items, such as minion robots that can assist you. The problem is that these things are just far too limited to be useful long term. For example, you get a robot that can water your plants. It can be upgraded to fill sprinklers. But you can never have a robot automate the planting or collection of crops. This means you need to do it manually. And the same goes for a lot of things in the game. You can't just set up robots to automate a lot of the back and forth the game wants you to do. You can have builder robots, but you can't tag buildings for upgrades so that they do it, you have to do it, every single time. Another problem with this game is that it's quite buggy. I didn't have anything particularly game breaking. But, if you play for a couple of hours, the games chests begin to lag as you open them which makes inventory manage a drag. There's also odd moments where the game stutters or moments where the camera will spin out of control. Additionally the music would cut out or sound would stutter. I'm not on a low end PC either, it's just seemingly the game. I've heard there are also game breaking bugs, luckily I avoided those. The story for me also starts out interesting, and it has a couple of turns here and there but in the end it just feels lacklustre and very abrupt. The characters are also not particularly interesting or endearing I found. They're just kind of there. Overall the game starts out strong but it feels like the devs didn't put the same effort or considerations into the second half of the game. It just kind of drags on and on until you hit a sudden and unfulfilling finish. The game isn't terrible by any means, just half baked.
I very much enjoyed the first 10 or so hours of the game. Lots of fun breaking items down and crafting upgrades. But as the chore list grows, the ability to keep up with it does not without minions... And the minions, are idiots. I had 4 of them, Engineer, 2 collectors, and a builder. The engineer was largely unutilized most of the time, very rarely would it go grab a bit of plant matter to fuel the reactors, but without that I would have had to babysit it several times a day since the power drained so quickly and I couldn't see a way to stock up on more energy between refills. This became a problem when I switched to sunflowers, and suddenly the engineer couldn't figure out that there were sunflowers in the chest right next to the line of reactors, and several times over the game, I ran out of power because it was sitting there gormlessly saying it couldn't find fuel. When it did find fuel, it was because I was just pulling up every sunflower on the map as I walked around and it would dash across the map to grab that for fuel. The collectors mostly worked but I could never figure out exactly what algo they were using to pick storage. I would build a chest right next to a nest so that it would have an easier time dropping the ink and corrosives off, and it would instead grab them and run across the map to a different chest, despite that one being zoned for the items it carried. The builder/repairer? well, it mostly worked until I ran into a particular bug. When that bug hit, it dropped its repairer in a pile of corrosive slime and stood there vacantly saying it couldn't find a repairer to fix things... All of this combined when I went down an elevator and spent a day clearing the area out, when I came back, the power was off, the leeches had escaped containment, and all but 1 of my UV emitters had been destroyed by them. Rather than rebuild all of those UV emitters, I just quit the game. I knew that if I kept going it was just going to happen again because of how useless the minions are, and at this point the game is impossible to keep progressing in without their help. The other part was as the area of the roof I could explore expanded, the game got slower and started stuttering more and more on the steamdeck, and even things like opening the chests and switching between chests would take what seemed like an eternity, when you have to scroll through 10 chests to find the one that you're keeping a particular item in.
will there ever be an update to this game
Rahat edemedim oynarken. Oyunun içinde bulunduğu apocalyptic tema bani çok sarmadı.
