Hue

Hue was surprisingly good even though puzzle platformer isn't really my preferred genre. There were a few frustrating moments because my fingers failed me, nevertheless, the mechanics weren't too difficult and the some of the levels were actually pretty satisfying.

Ok. Picture this. What if you wanted a puzzle game that isn't very challenging, yet makes you scratch your head a couple of times, while following a simple story with themes that match the visuals and the gameplay to perfection ? That relatively sums up my experience with Hue. You can literally feel the care in every element of the game and how they work in one single harmony to deliver a fun experience. The visuals are very reminiscent of shadow puppetry, with a slightly modern and smooth movement. The soundtrack is very immersive and fits the vibes of each level (not to mention the different notes that play for each unique color). The game follows an endearing story that is made into different chapters, representing the different shades of emotions the narrator goes through on their journey (I won't divulge their identity because of spoilers). Overall, this is a solid game. I recommend it to anyone who wants to play a puzzle game during fall.

A tapestry for your eyes, ears, touch, and most importantly, your heart. Hue discusses acknowledgement of the things that exist outside our own five senses - that what is real exists outside what you perceive. Tight controls escort smart, simple game play. Excellent dynamic music, excellent voicework, beautiful visuals... I know you'll love this if you leave yourself open to its message.

One of the Best PUZZLE PLATFORMERS I have ever played. Quite surprisingly the story is pretty good and has depth. Storywise- this game talks about the concept of reality and how one has limited tools to perceive reality and whether our version of reality is the truth or just a limited perception. This analogy is brought through by Hue's mom who talks about the possibilities that would open if she was able to perceive a 3rd dimension (this being a 2d platformer, the in-game character's reality is questioned), and also after seeing all the colors (original world was black and white), the world is not the same anymore for her. Great concept !!! Awesome gameplay !!! Final few levels were a bit tricky, but not that difficult. 100% completed and thoroughly enjoyed.

The game is very good and challenging , a big issue i faced was when changing colours it would select another color from what you selected even tho the cursor wasnt there , other then that the game was very well build , a small game like this has a very good story and a very challenging gameplay , some levels took me a long time , very good game
